lol, no I'm still around level 25-27 (yet to beat GS1).

no, I'm at lv. 50 in one file, and at ~lv. 33. in TLA, my Isaac party are all at lv. 99, because I used the password generator, but I do plan to get everyone up there eventually.

Max's characters are all at Lv. 99 I believe.

I never even bother to level up to the max level o_o except for FFX but it was out of desperation.

I got this password though for lvl 70 characters ^^ Only in TLA ofcourse, but that means he had them in GS also lvl 70 x.x

lol, well generally, when I beat GS1, my characters are only in the mid-30's. This time around, however, I plan on getting them to around level 55: in the fifties or so, most Psynergy techniques are already gained in most classes...

Well, what are your techniques to get to level 99? I suppose the Lure Cap plus the upper floors of VL... then there's the Tempest Lizard...

Although I'm not at 99 yet, I've always used the top of the Venus Lighthouse, with Lure Cap. The Tempest Lizard gives only around 1500 exp, right? And you can't heal without either walking around/using items/leaving the island. Top of the lighthouse has a Psynergy Stone, and, if you worked out an enemy RNG (purely by guessing, sadly), you can get 6000 exp in the time it would take to beat the Tempest Lizard.

I don't see a point in leveling up to lvl99, seems really, really pointless to me. I mean, what do you achive by doing it. Unless you actually spend a lot of time battling other people, whats the use?

it's really pointless for anyone ot level up to lvl 99 in the first Golden Sun. It'll take forever and lots of time. In my opinion it's a waste of time. However, it much easier to level up to lvl 99 in TLA, i might considering doing so if i had the time.

Yeah because wonder birds are in GS2 and if you have lure cap from GS1 and use mercury djinn, you can level up heaps faster.

Yeah grand gair rocks, one of the best venus psynergy for sure.

Odyssey is cooler, even if there is little point using it and you can't use it on gs1 anyway.

Yep, been a while, but I think there were three swords, and they all hit the enemy.

And the only reason I'd level to 99 is for completion. FULL completion. Why? No idea.

two swords attack the enemy, doing a cris-cross, then Issac/Felix takes a hug sword and smashed through the enemy, looks extremely cool

Yeah level 101 is possible with cheats but that was my second time around................ first time level 99

You really don't need to reach lv. 99. By lv. 54 all psynergies are learned anyway...

only reason to level up to lvl 99 is b/c your EXTREMELY bored at home or you're on a LONG car ride

A very long time! I'm replaying GS and my party's level 49. I'm just going to go to 50 because I don't care about learning Grand Gaia or Freeze Prism.

my characters are in the mid 40s and its taken 36 hours and they are only at 650000 exp and it needs at least 10 million exp to get to lvl 99. wwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well See, I WANTED to get to 99 in GS1 but after Lv 35 and up it just starts getting triersome, I mean if it was like pokemon where you could have EXP increas then yeah it would e cool, but man, its hard. . .in GS1 i got to about 47-48 and then stoped, and just beat the game, cuz i wanted to play GS2 . . . .But this time around, Im really going for it! Im getting to 99

Honestly, in my opinion it isn't worth getting to 99 in Golden Sun, but in TLA it is. I myself never reached 99, because honestly, I personally believed I could have used my time more wisely. IIRC, my highest level was in the 80s in TLA.
