The article describes how taken aback he is by how the country has changed in the nearly two decades he's been in a coma. Also, very sweet of his wife to have taken care of him all this time.

Wow. That's an interesting story. I wonder how he'd cope in such a different world. I also wonder how his wife can look after him for 19 years. I'd have gotten bored a long time ago.

Wow, 19 years? I wouldn't want to wake up after 19 years, I would rather that someone just pulled the plug like 18 years earlier. I mean, seeing all I would have missed out on would just make me cry.

Lets face the facts. Who really wants to wake up to a world of Global Warming, Nations on the brink of an arms race, overpopulation, and worst of all GROWING GAS PRICES.

                I definitely would. ;)

It's not really that, but all the people you would know would be so much older. Some would be dead probably, others would have gone to live in other country, and others wouldn't even want to see you after all that time. That doesn't sound nice.

Shame he didn't wake up a year later. Then he would get to play Brawl ;)

Well he could play pretty much every game after the NES era if he's been out for 19 years.
The fact that he's a 60+ Polish man probably won't deter him either.

                        Sarcasm, Me111. Sarcasm.

To be honest, instead of missing out on all the events ( The Millenium!) I would have people make no effort to wake me up.

I knew that. It was a sarcastic response too.
I wouldn't like missing out on all of the events, but hearing about them for the first time would be strange.
