RPG for the DS. Anyone got it? I'm thinking about buying it.

It's an RPG at long last for DS. Looks pretty good.

Futuristic GS looking to me. But maybe better..

See, I would be considering buying this if I had a DS.

I like how they made refrence to GS in the IGN article. Proof that GS hasn't been forgotten. ;D

I'm not sure about the game though. It looks kinda weirdish.

If I dont find another game to have, along with Pokemon for DS, then i'll get this ( probably) But 2 RPG's is a bit much for me, so maybe not.

I just bought it a few days ago on vacation. DEFINATELY worth your money. Much better than FFIII. I still don't like the style very much, but the battle mechanics are good.

I bought it today. On first impression I'd say it's fun, but I'm still uncertain how much depth there is.

I started again, but this time as a girl with light magic, so things might change a bit. And it evens the characters out: 3 girls, 3 guys.

                        I'm such a loser.

It's actually a water planet, more like a tropical island kinda place. But that's after you beat the boss there. But you were probably at Gren or Razen.

Buggy? I'd hardly call it that. Sometimes my games will just freeze up, but that's very rare, and I highly doubt it's the cartridge's, or the game's fault. I blame it on constantly dropping my DS.

And Caael, just because it happened once doesn't mean it's bad, or buggy. Who knows, maybe you actually got a bad cartridge.

Absolutey, that would be the right thing to do.
                                          But it would cost money.

And what's wrong with actually paying for something?

Now I'll be fair, I don't pay for any of my music, but I don;t have many songs, and I'm not going to buy a whole CD just for one song (which would be the case in most instances), and songs bought from iTunes won't work on my MP3 player.

But as for games, I'd rather buy them, since they're worth a lot more money than one song. The only exception is if the game I want isn't schedueled to be released in my region any time soon. So what's your reason for not paying?

I'll re-download it as a different region. This one is European, so i'll download an American one, becasue it's not the Supercard itself that doesn't work, only this game has ever given me problems.

I only download (U) games. It seems to work better with American made Carts.

Toasty, I paid for my cart to be fair. I also paid for my Ps2 to be chipped and the games, the only thing I buy fully legit it my Wii and Gamecube stuff, and then most of that is done via eBay. Why pay if I don't need too? I wouldn't even buy the games if I didn't have my R4. I sure as hell didn't buy games when I didn't have a R4 anyway. I just went without and let my DS collect dust.

Well buying a chip and not paying for the games is still illegal. And you pay even if you don't have to because that's the legal way.

But Caael, if you're playing a ROM, then you can't say that it froze because the game was made poorly. If it's a ROM, there's usually gonna be problems with the game.

I don't know anything about this game, but I'd blame it on the fact that you don't own a legit copy as well. You can never trust a game to work the way it should if you didn't get it retail or D2D. (direct to drive)

I only download games if it isn't available in stores anymore, or if it's WAY over-priced. (cough The Sims 2 expansions cough) Downloading is the same as stealing, and that's something I look down upon. You're taking money away from people who are making an honest living.

It's an NDS file, so it's just all the game material ripped and put onto the computer, for me to download and put on supercard. Something must have been corrupted in the process or lost.

Exactly. The files get mixed up in the transfer between the card and the computer, or even the computer to another computer. Sometimes they even end up getting mixed with a virus, though that's not exactly common, and only happens when the owner of the file splices the two together.

But that's why ROM's aren't reliable. It's too easy to corrupt them.

I've downloaded about 50 games as roms, and MS is the only one to have problems. If I was playing them on the PC, it would probably be a lot different, but it's supercard, so it's just replicates the exact DS engine, you just choose the game you play first, and then it's identical to the DS.

It's not the Supercard at fault, just the rom.

I've had about the same size collection as Caael, the only game that's known to have problems is Castlevania-POR, something to do with saving.
