This is really random, but my side-scroll bar disappeared. You know, that blue bar that you click and drag to make the document scroll up and down. But, it's only gone in Word.

Now when I open any Word document, I have to highlight the text or use page up or down. Annoying. Where did it go? How can I get it back?
    (I'm using Mac OS X)

          No, I don't. But I won't argue about it.

          So, yeah... *disappears from topic*

Just realized, you won't get people like me saying things like that if this was in the right forum. I'll report it for you.

What I don't understand is why I have the side-scroll (on the bottom), but not the up-and-down scroll. I've tried all the options under the 'View' menu. Nothing's worked.

i don't know how to solve it, but cant you just use the mouse whell and scroll down? Or try clicking the center mouse button and moving th e mouse down. Either should work to scroll down and up.

she needs to scroll left and right. Not up and down.

And are you sure that the window isn't showing the whole page?

*brain fart* This is what made my brain think that. It's running a little 'slow' today.

But yeah, I have extremely limited experience with macs, so I don't know.

I have the up-and-down scroll in FireFox. I need it in Word.
I have a stupid cheap mouse that doesn't have the wheel. It only has left-click.
It's Microsoft Word, so it's basically the same as the windows version, except shinier.

Hmm, there's no system restore on macs, is there. You could always try re-loading word onto your mac.

Okay, I'll have to try that once I get some free time (and my teachers stop assigning a million essays). When that happens, I'll post here again to say how it worked.
