Six Years, Part 2

Six years ago today, the Golden Sun fansite Isaac's Revenge was launched. I personally would join IR about a month later, leading eventually to the site's merger with Golden Sun Haven to become today's Golden Sun Syndicate. Although IR was not the first GS fansite, its launch anniversary is a personal milestone, and it is humbling to see the site still alive after all this time.
I had originally intended to launch the new version of GSS today to celebrate the anniversary of IR's launch, but life conspired against me to prevent that. The site is almost complete, with only some minor details and polish left to be done. In addition, I'm happy to announce that the site will be bilingual upon release, with both English and German versions. Also, a new version of the GSW site will be released at the same time, showcasing my plans for that project.
I hope to have this triple launch (English GSS, German GSS, and GSW sites) by the end of the year, although I may instead hold it back until mid-to-late January if any issues arise. Again, thank you all for continuing to visit this site, and I hope that you will continue to visit and participate in the forums for the foreseeable future.

I agree. Without your dedication, truly, a piece of my life would be missing.
I look forward to seeing the new GSS and GSW site when they're ready. Take your time, there's no rush. As Icy's Law of Forums states: Real life first. Forums later. That must have been some wise person.

We love you, Max. =P Seriously, all your dedication and hard work made one of the nicest places I can go to on the Internet.
Anyways, I'm curious, why German as the second language of the forums?

Seconded. I know for a fact that these forums mean so much to me for the past few years, I'm so grateful that I'm a part of it and gotten to know the great community here.
We're behind you Max, 100%.

Not second language for the forum, second language for the website. And the only "reason" would be that I found someone willing and able to do the necessary translation work. I'd like to expand it to include other languages over time if possible.

Yes soon we'll have all the other languages...
THEN WE CAN CONQUER THE WORLD!
Seriously though it seems crazy that it's been six years since it all originally started. Good luck for the future!

Congratulations Max! It never really occurred to me that the site had been running for that long. As raven said, your dedication is remarkable.
Also the thought that I have been posting on GS websites on and off for about 6 years now is slightly disturbing. Time is so short when you look back on it... >>
Hopefully one day a new Golden Sun game will be released and this site will still be alive to enjoy it. I know there are many, many golden sun fans out there. This community is mostly those who are loyal to your site and forums rather than golden sun fanatics. If ever we do see a new game I'm sure these forums will explode with people :D.
Either way, we're all behind you for whatever you intend to do with the site.
