Halo Thats right

So yeah, Halo 3 is currently my most played game, mainly online. I've made some great friends online already, though some people are right little homos who scream ' PWNED' down the mic while jumping constantly with a battle rifle and plasma pistol.
So yeah.

Which involves more skill. If you have shields, there is always hiding, no shields makes it more difficult, and more of a skill game, than getting lucky with a plasma, or something to that effect.

Valhalla is the best map for anything; snipers, CTF, infection, slayer etc. It's an awesome map, and the best looking one as well. River ftw.

That was actually one of my best games though. 2 of our team mates dropped out right at the start, so it was 2 of us against 4. At the start of the game we were getting whipped, and it was about 15-6 to them, but then towards the end we got better/they got worse and eventually we brought the score up to 36-24. We frikkin won!

I think the Crows nest is the only level i've completed once. Everything else i've replayed several times, so its the only level i'm not too familiar with.

The place that Halo shines is the co-op which is awesome for hanging out with your best bud.
This pretty much sums it up: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/v...ctuation-Halo-3
I really just get tired of hearing about Halo when there are shooters that are better and don't get as much recognition.

I believe that was Halo 2. The most overrated game ever.
Halo has to be the most generic shooter of all time. You run and shoot things. You can't go prone, you can't use weapon sights. The best thing, like I said, is the vehicles and co-op and without those two things, I can guarantee that there probably wouldn't be a Halo 3 to this day.
Like I said, Halo is not a bad game so I hope you won't interpret it that way. It's an average shooter.

Halo has no replay value if you ask me. I beat the campaign on Legendary, and now it's collecting dust.

The only bad point I find with Halo is the lack of bosses. Scarabs are fun to fight, but thats all there is D:
A lot of people just disregard the plot totally, saying it's just another space shooter but its waaay more than that. There's loads of twists, and you've had to have played the first 2 to understand the plot totally.

I don't know, I only palyed Halo 2 story mode 4 times, once on each difficulty, which took a total, of like, 5 days, and it hasn't been touched after that. Onlnie only.

I'm getting better online now. Out of the 20 matches I played today, I was MVP for 7 of them. And in all of them I got over 15 kills.
What does MVP stand for anyway?
Edit: It stands for Most Valued Professional.

I haven't played Halo 3 THAT much, only when I go to my cousin's hosue, and some of my friends who have 360's. In Halo 2 though, I pwn all. Me and my friend Paul are both in the top 200 on XBC, in Halo 2, out of like, 300'000

Halo: The Flood is a novelization of the first game and deviates from the script in a few places, but it's still a good read.
You might not like them if you don't like the characters or plot of the game itself, but they're some of my favourite books. Read a few excerpts on the internet before you decide to buy them.
If anything, at least go for the Graphic Novel. It's got some great art in it.

But yeah, I will look into some of these books. I'm not too interested in what happened during the games, because..well there's the games for that. I'm more interested in before and after to see how master chief got where he is, and what happens next.

This is why you have so many posts. As GL has said many times, "Quality, not Quantity."
It's not like you can't ever make a post like that, but you have a lot of them. Posts like that also have absolutely nothing to do with the topic. You could at LEAST put something Halo related in one of those.
Anyway, a friend of mine and I came up with an idea a while ago (before Halo 3 came out). I'm not sure if it's like rocket raceing or not, but RR could be derived from it since he's got XBL. I've never tried this online though, so w/e. Here goes:
You have a map that can be easily accessed by vehicles (i.e. Relic, which is what we origionally used), and you have vehicles spawn on it like a gauss warthog, ghost, etc. (we used two vehicles, more can be used for onlin play). The idea is that you set up a predetermined course, and that course is what you drive on (we just drove around Relic clockwise). The idea is still the same as a typical team slayer match. Most kills wins. However, you cannot use rockets, and you cannot go in the opposite direction of the course, or take alternate routes (like cutting through the middle of Reclic), but you can slow down/speed up/stop, so long as you don't go off course/go backwards. Obviously, a warthog would have someone on the turret, while a person in a ghost would be alone.
From what I understand, RR is running around with someone in the passenger seat of a warthog that's carrying a rocket launcher.
