So now I get to control the spam in my e-mail inbox with the MS-DOS prompt while I'm at school (Websense blocks my ISP's webmail login page). I'm currently working on splicing the two REALLY old PC's that I have in my household (an IBM with socket 7 CPU and an HP with a socket 370) to make one massively underpowered computer capable only of using teh intarnets.
All I need is a working laptop CD drive (that's what the HP uses, and I'm having WAY too much trouble with the IBM) so I can install Windows ME on the HP. I took the one from my sister's laptop, but she came home before I could even get the CD in, and let me tell you, she was really happy about it. <.<;
So yeah, her boyfriend (who's awesome) is letting me borrow his laptop's CD drive. I'll be back in no time. :o

I actually just keep GSSF open in a tab the whole time. I'm usually on Wikipedia or looking for some app that I'm interested, or occaisionally looking at the prices for computer hardware (n0 pr0n 4 m3). Last time I was up on teh intarnets past midnight, I was trying to figure out how the crap to get my PS2 emulator working. Lukily, my friend has a PS2, so I can get the BIOS I need for the Emulator from him.

But It's been complaining about the GS configuration (which I've tried many configurations/plugins of) lately. Haven't gotten it to work yet.

You could try putting it on one of those evil macs, seeing as you can run two, or maybe more, OS on it, perhap you could run the BIOS on it two and switch between the two. I'm just grasping at straws here though.

And I never actually worked on the project that night either. XD I did it all at school the next day. I would've even have gotten an A if my stupid computer in first period didn't freeze up TWICE (frikkin' Dells....), because if it hadn't, I would've had the report done, and all I would've had to finish was the poster. But I wrote the report in science before it was my turn to present. Funnily enough, I was one of the three or four people who actually even did ANYTHING. XD
So yeah, I'm back.

IT textbooks are no match to experience. :P Besides, everything I've learned was either from figuring it out myself (like taking the system completely apart and putting it back together), or from articles on teh intarnets (like CAS latencies, socket compatablilities, overclocking, etc.).
So there. :P
