In today's modern world of modernity, are their advantages to being one gender over the other? And I don't mean just like "guys can get better jobs" or "girls can bat their eyelashes and get anything they want", I also mean on a genetic level. Pour exemple, girls are very hormonal, yes? But guys generally have to hold what emotions they have inside so that their friends don't view it as a weakness.
So...get with the debating.
The kathy griffin option is for if you don't have an opinion, or if you think kathy griffin is the gender you want to be.
EDIT: ...they totally killed my sub topic thingy. Damn dots.

Plus men don't have to go through menstruation, childbirth, shaving their legs, make-up etc.
There's a reason the world is run by men, and all the greatest works of art, music, film and literature can be accredited to men as well.
Women of course have that 'motherly' nature to them, but where's that going to get them in life besides being a mother?

Srsly tho. There's advantages to both. Men are brought to their knees by women. A man will do almost anything for a woman he cares about, and since men are usually stronger and usually have more resources available to them, women get all that, plus what they already have. Though, that's only if said woman finds a man who she can bring to their knees. Yay plastic surgery. :P Though there are still successful women out there who got where they are today without sleeping with their bosses.
Men, on the other hand, have fewer distractions, stabler minds (sorry ladies, but that's scientific fact), more muscle, and are far less prone to sexism. Plus, when people think of men, they think of strength. When they think of women, they think of beauty (or weakness depending on the person. :P j/k). In the real world, strength and the control over one's mind prevail far more often than beauty.
So basically, I voted Kathy Griffin. Whoever she is. :P

Some governments in Europe (Holland a bit, Denmark a lot) are trying to get some sort of equality in the business world that it's sometimes even discriminating to men.
But meh, in the social world, Caael said it all.

Remember, many societies have women as second class citizens, and this is the main reason as to why they have less 'advantage'. Plus, many religion (including Christianity) focuses on men, while women remain in the backseat. Women discrimination is there, and imo, more rampant than racial and sexual orientation. It's just less obvious.
As we know, women scores better in education, and more go to college. It's just that women are less 'successful' because most try to give back to society rather than be an icon or rich. Sry, it's true. Most men care about their wellbeing rather than others, while women are the opposite. Plus, there is a bit of discrimination by the 'status quo'.
Remember, even the UN states that if you educate a woman, you educate a nation, but if you educate a man you educate himself. Honestly, it is true.
In any case,
"Women rights are human rights" - Hillary Clinton (I really hope she wins, since everyone is putting in their opinion)
Yes, Hillary is the perfect example. A man with Hillary Clinton's credentials would surely be President.

Barack Obama FTW. There's nothing wrong with having a woman president, but, for the love of god, NOT Hillary.

Try finding a religion that focuses on females. Don't just emphasise christianity for being "bad".

In a family role women are also more likely to take one for the family. Drop work for a while, take care of the family, whilst in most cases the men just keep working.

That's a bit too much. There are enough egocentric women out there as well. *cough* hollywood anyone? *cough*

In the case of Women and Men, in the same example I gave for blacks/whites, the male will get the job before the female. There are some variables though, and sometimes beauty could be one.

But still, the boss could come up with some reason why he didn't hire the black man. Still, let's not go into a race debate here. Make a topic if you wanna continue it.

Look at the statistics. For example, regionally Barbados has the highest GRDI, and it is the most developed Caribbean country. There is a direct relationship with women development and overall development.
And I said including Christianity because everyone always neglect the fact that the Bible preach women should succumb to men x.x

Meh, I find religion fascinating. It's simply brilliant how powerful and wealthy the vatican is these days. The main arguement is, it's been a men's world for 10.000 years, why change it?
