Everybody has an insane video game story, like a Zelda 3 heart run, or a 2 minute Super Mario Bros. run, but I'd like to hear yours.

It doesn't just have to be a completed game, it can be like a 5 person kill in Halo, or stuff to that effect.

Killed 22 people in a Halo match and died twice. Got a rampage. I have a picture if you really want it.

I flipped an elephant once. Drove it up on a cliff face sideways and ran over a mine. When I got out it said "Press X to flip elephant... Wait, WTF how did you do that?"

Another Halo triumph was getting a triple kill on three dudes in a warthog. I had the flag and they were chasing me so I just threw a grav-lift down to jump onto our elephant. Not only did I jump right onto the redeem point, their warthog flew into the air when it hit the grav-lift. It flipped and blasted all three of them into firey oblivion againt the side of our elephant at the same instant I scored. CTF FTW.

Beating a group of 3 humans in an AoE2 multiplayer match. I had the Britons (my fav team!).
I pwnt them so bad <3

And yeah, two of them were skilled players.

i dont mean to boast but

- Final Fantasy IX: speed run, as in defeated Lich in Memoria within 12 hours starting the game (done this three times)
- Soul Calibur II: used to hold the world record for Fastest Extra Arcade time with Talim at 1 minute 4 seconds, dont know if that's been beaten
- Final Fantasy VIII: game solo'd with Squall
- Final Fantasy VIII: game solo'd with Rinoa
- Final Fantasy VIII: game solo'd with Selphie
- Final Fantasy VII: Emerald Weapon defeated with the 'attack' command

And how do you solo with *? Do you just not revive the others when they die?

well the site i compared it with others scores on was the biggest of its kind (cant remember the name of it for the life of me), the were some times faster than mine but they were with other characters.

Soloing is indeed killing all the other characters and only using them when the game forces you to

Hmm, I wonder if FF7 is Solo'able. It was harder than FF8 by far.


One I got was SSBM, event 50, in 32 seconds. I used Captain Falcon, and got luckey because Crazy Hand wasn't being, well, crazy.

I think the official Event 50 record is like, 19 seconds. I saw one on youtube and it was 22.

I remember soloing Abyssion in ToS with a few characters ( Sheena, Lloyd and Zelos I think) I tried it with Regal but failed :\

I got 2400 points in the archery game on Molida Island in Phantom Hourglass. That game was freaking annoying.

Flipping elephants is simple. But have you made one fly around the map? No, didnt think so :P

Also, surely putting a grav lift down that flings them into the elephant wouldn't kill them. It would only kill them if you launched them onto the badlands with the spike mines, or if they landed on a mine. Plus triple kills are well easy to get with the laser on Valhalla CTF.

I don't know if you would call it a feat, but I played a game of Halo aginst five other people. It was a ten minute game. My kills-4, number of times killed-I think it was around 180. I suck at Halo.

One time, I comepletely owned everyone with a shotgun in Halo 2. :D

About an hour ago I did Intense Classic Mode with Meta-Knight and only died once. That's good enough for me.

I didnt die once in a whole match of TF2 and I was a pyro. You have to have played the game to understand that it's a compliment. That game is so difficult not to die in.

Just finished FF7, no summon/final limit run.

Which should I try first? No materia, or solo run? Which will be easier? I think no materia, seeing as if I try and solo with Cloud, and I get to the bosses where he doesn't fight, I'm screwed.(The robot elevator battle at Shinra Inc. is an eg.)

your allowed to use the other characters in solo runs but only when the character you're soloing with isnt available.

try a speed run, defeat Jenova Absolute say...within 20 hours of starting the game ( that might be a bit generous)

What I meant was, when I reach a non Cloud battle, my characters will be insanely underlvl'd.

Playing through Ravenholm with only the gravity gun is one of my greatest VG achievements. You dont know how hard it is to kill fast zombies on rooftops with a bucket of paint.

That's why it's so hard. You have to throw it and try to catch it before it falls off otherwise you're screwed. I didn't die once before the rooftops, but as soon as the first fast zombie comes, it lunges at me and I fall off in suprise.

You can quicksave on the 360 version as well. There would be no way I would try it with the gravity gun if I had to start the level from start everytime i died.
