New DS?

I saw a story on Gamespot, which suggests a new DS could be released.
Frankly I don't see much point unless it has some impressive new features. I've been screwed by Nintendo twice with their remakes, having bought an original GBA and DS only months before their updated counterparts were released. It just seems cruel for them to make a handheld, sell it to the public, and then announce that a better version is coming out. Still that's just my bitterness and I do realise that updating the console is a good way to keep it going. It just seems cruel to those who've already got it.

GBA -> GBA SP -> GBA Micro
DS -> DS Lite -> DS Nano (:P)
I figured they'd do it eventually. I might buy, my current DS Lite has a crack on the hinge.

Until they do a trade-in without any additional cost, I won't be doing it.

Depends on how much monies I have atm, and how dire the situation is. My DS Lite has more problems than just a crack on the hinge, which, at the moment, is more of a cosmetic inconvenience than anything else. The plug thing that you put the charging cord into is also getting a little messed up, thanks to my dad... I have to put the cord into my DS at an ANGLE for it to charge. =/

Hmmmm there is a possibility but won't be for a while: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/new-...ter-speculation
So I'm guessing my wallet is safe for the moment xD
Oh god, that can't be good :S Like the older version of DS, they were like bomb shelters and mine never got damaged xD

That's what I was wondering. The screens would need to be really small, or the machine would need to be huge.

Or you could just have two screens on the bottom panel and a widescreen on top?
This article makes me happy that I couldn't afford a DS when it came out. :P

This article makes me happy that I lost mine and have a reason to get a new one. =D
It's too bad it won't be comming before MAy though, because I have a trip that I'm going on then, and nothing to occupy myself with.
