Thats insane. He sounds like a rare good teacher too.

All he seemed to be doing was engaging with the children...madness. Political Correctness needs to die x.x

I know. Teachers that engage with pupils are all too rare these days.

They accused him of "black magic" or something, I suppose. If he WERE trying to do black magic or whatever, I'd fire him too. But he wasn't. It was a freaking toothpick!

I wish I could hae had my friend's science teacher for CS1, because he sounds like a pretty cool guy. They apparently talked a lot about science related stuff that was far beyond the cirriculum (which is mind-numbingly easy the vast majority of the time. Yay basic math). Whenever I start to talk about anything other than the cirriculum in my class, my teacher tells me to shut up. He's even sent me out for talking too much (most of the time I'm answer SCIENCE related questinos that some of the kids in the class ask). My explanations may be confusing to most of the kids in class, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be allowed to talk about SCIENCE in a SCIENCE class. Good grief.

            [/rant]

Point is, I was unlucky. I just hope that any of the good teachers at our highschool don't run into BS like this due to "political correctness".

My senile socials teacher in grade 8 seemed to make my homework disappear. I had to do a lot of work twice that year.

Yeah I have a teacher that does that and I actually blamed her for losing to her face once and she got mad at me and yelled that she never loses homework. I didn't ever do the work a second time though.
