I actually though conversations with him were interesting. I didn't really mind having him around all the time. In fact, I barely even noticed him most of the time.

It's hard to notice Kraden most of the time since he's only in cutscenes which aren't actually that frequent. o.o

I'm fine with Kraden, he was pretty much essential for the character line up to be expected (brash Mars adepts, gentle Mercury healers, mysterious Jupiter wielders), I actually liked his almost fanboy delight with Garoh and the lycanthropes.

Every game needs an annoying character. It makes you hate the other characters less.

The main characters were so bland in the first place that yeah, any annoying character would make the others cherished.

For not quite developed characters, we do love them an awful lot. :(

Of course they're endearing, we've been here for ages for a game that hasn't been updated in eons. They're not quite characters to undergo character analysis, though. It's quaint.

Personally I dislike him because he's in your group and he follows you around and he uses up our resources (I can only assume the group feeds him and pays for him at the inn and stuff), yet when it comes time for battle, where's kraden?? NOT FSCKING HELPING OUT, THAT'S FOR SURE. lol well actually it's also all the trouble he gets the group into when he wants to "investigate" more. He could at least pick up a rock and help out during battles. Leech.

He's an okay character, yes, but people may have liked him a bit more if he actually fought. I do recall him saying something along the lines that "fighting is so much fun".

I have to say I agree. I did manage to play GS2 before GS1, which is probably why I am biased toward Felix and the others from the second game. If anything, it was Felix who is the great hero of GS and not Isaac. If you remember rightly, Isaac was trying to stop the lighthouses from being lit which would have eventually lead to the destruction of the world. See, bad guy. lol

Kraden was... funny in places, but most of the time he annoyed me. I hated how he seemed to take the lead and yet put Felix in charge when Felix only said one thing throughout the entire game. That memorable word, "Why?" *wipes a tear away* Still, he did come in handy for the entire plot, even if he was some weird old guy that hung around with a bunch of teenagers... Then again, the really old guy of the group was Piers, lest we forget about the Lemurian. I loved that scene when they asked him how old he really was, so funny. lol

When I think of Kraden, He kinda resembles an obiwan kanobe. He seems to have all the knowhow on psynergy and alchemy, so I would imagine that alot of the kids psynergy development came from his instruction.

Even though he hardly has any himself, except to pilot a psynergy powered ship. But I'm sure there's some behind the scenes coaching that he does that helps. It would just be so dang boring to witness all of it.

At other times I wonder if Kraden didn't have the same goal that Alex had in the first place, except for himself. I also wonder if Kraden had more psynergy powers then he let on. Just a thought, and I'm sure that I'm not the first to think that.

If anything, Kraden was actually the representative of Felix. As Felix couldn't talk in the game, you'll often find Kraden speaking for him or asking Felix a yes or no question and explaining Felix's thoughts to the player. In this sense he's useful, but he's not exactly my favorite character either. I just don't see any point in hating him though...
