Everybody hates Kraden

But I don't really hate him, I just slightly dislike him.

I'm fine with Kraden, he was pretty much essential for the character line up to be expected (brash Mars adepts, gentle Mercury healers, mysterious Jupiter wielders), I actually liked his almost fanboy delight with Garoh and the lycanthropes.

For not quite developed characters, we do love them an awful lot. :(

Of course they're endearing, we've been here for ages for a game that hasn't been updated in eons. They're not quite characters to undergo character analysis, though. It's quaint.
How are we supposed to contrast Kraden with Jar Jar Binks so easily? Skewing perspectives so nothing seems bad in comparison; clever.

He's an okay character, yes, but people may have liked him a bit more if he actually fought. I do recall him saying something along the lines that "fighting is so much fun".

Yeah, they were cardboard cutouts alright, with glimpse of characters here and there. Although I'm not sure who here would rise up to the occasion at this point in time to say that they weren't.

Kraden was... funny in places, but most of the time he annoyed me. I hated how he seemed to take the lead and yet put Felix in charge when Felix only said one thing throughout the entire game. That memorable word, "Why?" *wipes a tear away* Still, he did come in handy for the entire plot, even if he was some weird old guy that hung around with a bunch of teenagers... Then again, the really old guy of the group was Piers, lest we forget about the Lemurian. I loved that scene when they asked him how old he really was, so funny. lol

Even though he hardly has any himself, except to pilot a psynergy powered ship. But I'm sure there's some behind the scenes coaching that he does that helps. It would just be so dang boring to witness all of it.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me that happened to Platinum Sun when he tried the trick.
Still, it was kinda worth it.

As far as we know, he has just enough to power one of those ships from lemuria.
