The only real difference I've noticed between the games is the selection of songs. And then the battle mode thing in GH3. But GH On Tour is....borderline shovelware imo. They only made it to get moar monehs. And that youtube video was ghey.
Anyway, I still have fun with the console variations. Don't own any of them though.

EDIT: I'm starting to notice I'm sounding a bit like a fanboy so here's some research into the down fall. The peripheal can actually pop out of the GBA if your being fairly active from what gamespy and gamespot say, though they also say it only happens if you've been playing like an hour straight. Gamespy alsow complained about how holding the peripheal was a bit uncomfortable. I'll let you guys know how I feel about it tomorrow.

Yeah, but I see Guitar Hero as for those who don't play, and aren't willing spend hundreds of dollars and years of their lives on a real guitar and lessons.

And the cheapest guitar I found on a website (just one, don't give me **** if you find a cheaper one) is this one. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Dean-Playmate-...922-i1147931.gc
And sure, the time thing, but you forgot, time = money with good lessons. My parents were paying like 50 bucks a lesson for my sister.
EDIT: Well, enough of this silliness, lets get on with how I feel about the game.
Overall after playing four songs, my overall feel is 8/10
Graphics: 9/10
Ok, for a DS game, this actually looks great. The guitar on the touch screen is always fairly detailed and when you can take a look during gameplay, the "actual" guitar string will vibrate when you hit a note. The character models are awesome, (Except the female singer, why is she bald?! D: ) And when I was playing the subway venue, trains actually zoomed by as you play, making the standard subway train going by sound.
My main gripe is the menu. Wheres the awesome artwork? Its just fairly blah.
Sound: 8/10
Sure, the game sounds great, but how are you going to hear it that well if your hands sticking out that far? You basicly should play with headphones on all the time.
Control: 9/10
Strumming is a dream, I think its better than using the guitar for console guitars, but you have to be careful, the touch screen can be pretty sensitive about it all, once in awhile you'll find that the game thought you strum if you accidently tap the touch screen. Yelling in the microphone is kind of silly but it works better than dipping the guitar, but like the touch screen, its ultra sensitive to sound.
So thats the gist of it for you guys.

And hy would anyone need to take drum lessons? XD Though I suppose being a drummer in a school band helped some. Though most of what I learned on a set, I taught to myself. "disconnecting" your limbs is the hardest part imo, though.

You can take guitar lessons from the same place I take drum lessons for the same price.

I take lessons because there is only so much you can teach yourself on a set, and I am getting up there in ability. And yes being a drummer in a school band does help.

Huh.
I've also gotten opinions and tips from friends who are drummers, so I suppose that helps too. But I wouldn't be able to stand taking lessons for guitar, drums, or whatever. I prefer to learn on my own in my own way. I didn't learn much from my piano teacher to begin with, so I just kinda learned things myself. Though I can slo play by ear somewhat, so that helps too.
I can't play worth crap on a set when I know people are around though. D: But if I at least think I can't be heard, I can pull off some pretty sweet stuff. Don't get many chances to do that though.

The company releases a lot of licensed kid-friendly fare on the DS such as Kung-Fu Panda and Madagascar. The more expensive Guitar Hero: On Tour, priced at $50, has outsold them all by far.

On a general note, I played this a few weeks back at a mates house. What was quite annoying is that one of my friends assumed that being good at the game makes you a loser, so he was purposely trying to lose the whole time, by playing with his face, playing upside down.
It was funny, but he looked like a total twat.
