So what does it do then? Most people here haven't actually played the game in years.

ha that's funny actually. raises speed, resistance or power of wind, not sure, and of course defense. i just started the game two days ago and im already set to beat the game. this of course is not my first time through.

It's a monster drop, just use an RNG and:
Feathered robe: Created by Pokemon Emperor
Special Requirements:
Issac must have Gaia Blade
Garret must have Muramasa
Ivan must have K-Sword
Mia must have Blessed Mace
Save in the the room before the slide to the final boss
wander around until you fight 2 Griffons
TURN 1
Ivan attacks Griffon 1
Issac attacks Griffon 1...TITAN SWORD!
Griffon 1 dies!
Mia attacks Griffon 2
Garret attacks Griffon 2
TURN 2
Everybody but Ivan defends.
Ivan unleashes Squall
Griffon 2 dies
FEATHER ROBE
according to a faq, I'll think up a better one later.

yes i actually tried that one. im not sure why though, it's clear the person doesn't know how to speak english or give proper instruction
in order for the RNG thing to work, you have to save and shut off, and turn back on. i did exactly what it said though and saved then wandered around (where to?) until i found two "griffons" but i didn't even see one.

Yeah, that's bullcrap.
just keep wandering around and saving till you bump into 2 gryphons in the first battle. You need the +1 from the strike first in your RNG to get a price.

ok i just got one. i had to mess with some djinn classes to make ivan's attack high enough and use trial and error until i found a room that worked.
now im gonna go kill deadbeard! wanted to wait until i was a lot stronger
edit: that was the easiest fight ever. maybe 5 turns. im in the mid 30s for levels

I believe you're supposed to save in the room before the slide, and then enter the room, run around, and find two griffons.
Anyway, seems you got what you came for. I'd check the RNG guide lying around here somewhere if you haven't already.
