by pure accident, i just got the staff of anubis twice in a row. i just started playing through the second GS today because....i have to finish a series after i start it, even if it's the 80th time ive played it.
Red Demon and Doomsayer, from left to right respectively.
Felix: attack demon
Jenna: attack demon
Sheba: attack doomsayer
Piers: attack doomsayer
second turn
all defend except sheba, who uses blitz.
demon dies
kill doomsayer however
staff of anubis.
quick note though, the second time i got it, the doomsayer died on the first turn. still worked though, so cool.
EDIT: maybe it was just dumb luck. i cant get it to work anymore.

Exit the room, save youyr game, restart, re-enter the room. If it doesn't work after that, then it's a fluke. If it does, then that's pretty sweet.
