You know how there are plots and characters that you just "click" with? That happened with me in Avatar, and I never imagined that an animated show could do that to me. I feel weak and so sad that it's over, brilliant show but I am in such disbelief.
I have never felt this way before. This has never happened, not even when I finished Harry Potter or finally beat FFVIII or another RPG.
I'm really hurt by Avatar ending, and this has led me to post this topic. Have you ever been so touched and moved by anything - whether it is a book, an RPG, an animated series, etc. - so moved by the characters and plot? Ever feel like you'll never again experience anything quite like it?

OMG xD LOOL!!
I can't think of ever feeling the sadness as strongly as you, Riad. I was extremely attached to the whole Transformers Generation 1 cartoon(and still am), and I was very sad when I finally saw all the episodes, but I wasn't actually depressed.
There was this Serbian series that was coming to an end, and I felt that I was going to be really down once it had finished, but the last episode was so crappy and laughable that it ruined the whole series, so I didn't feel too sorry it had ended.

For instance in TP, where Iila looses her memory. I was depressed throughout the whole game... I had to look on the internets to see if she gets it back later in the game (which she does) just to make it through.
WTF.

Air
Kanon
Clannad
in particular the Fuko arc in Clannad, the Afterstory part of the Clannad movie, the second half of Air and the last 5 or so episodes of Kanon. The series' are brilliant, the characters are so well designed you cant help but get attached to them which makes an considerable impact on you when things take a turn for the worse

Seriously WTF. You were depressed throughout the ENTIRE game? Does that mean you didn't enjoy it just because stupid Ilia lost her useless memory? And who gives a whack about that loser anyway, I was sincerely hoping she would be killed in a tragic accident involving a moblin or two. But then I remembered it was Zelda I was playing and that it always has a sickeningly happy ending.
Anyhow, I was quite attatched to some of the characters of Majora's Mask. The way they know they're heading to their inevitable doom and how they get desperate at the end of the third day is portrayed amazingly.

QFT on both paragraphs. I couldn't stand loosing Boyd or Nephenee in PoR and when *Radiant Dawn spoilers*
OMG I used Spoiler Tags even though they're obviously so uncool and nobody uses them even if the whole point of them existing is for them to be used!

Majora's Mask original japanese name describes it best Zelda: Gaiden translating to Zelda SideStory. It uses the OoT game engine, reuses the same character models, Termina is a parallel version of Hyrule, only the day count and mask system differenciate it from its predecessor.

termina field = hyrule field Termina field is really just the ring of grass around clock town. OOT field extends a bit further
southern swamp = lost woods
snowhead mountain = death mountain The clue is in the name. Snowhead is snowy. Death mountain is not.
great bay = lake hylia They both contain water. The similarities end there. Zora hall is so much better than the Domain, with much, MUCH more story behind all the characters there
romani ranch = lon lon ranch It's bigger and there's more stuff to do than in Lon Lon, but basically yeah they're the same.
ikana canyon = gerudo valley Calling them the same because they are rocky is like calling Ricky Gervais the same as Patrick Stewart, because they're both male. Ikana has lots more back story, a much more spooky and creepier vibe, and more to explore. There's the whole Garo temple place you have to go through, as well as the tower. Ikana Canyon is my favourite video game location ever.
My 2 cents in bold.

I used to get into books when I was younger (mostly series) and cared about characters in them I guess, I was also pretty into FFX storyline. But not really no, I don't get attached to stories or Anime or games.

The hot girl almost never ends up with the guy I want them to. Why someone died that I didn't want dead or that someone who's still alive didn't die.
I also feel sorry for the wrong characters from time to time. "Musafa wasn't evil, just misunderstood. Besides, his brother was a filthy hypocrite and so is Simba."

Also? I cannot watch Air TV or the Air Movie without crying. Happens EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Clannad hasn't been that bad yet, although the Fuko arc was sad and I did tear up. I've been watching some Kanon and am totally afraid to keep watching in fear that it's gonna make me bawl. Repeatedly. T_T
