Kay, so I thought I might take a shot at the first RP of the new board.
I'm thinking a kind of shape-shifting RP. It'll take place around the 1800's, in a "another universe" where hundreds of people all over the world have "mutated", and have aquired the ability to turn into a certain animal.
The general public thinks this as evil, and dark magic, and has labled these "mutants" as daemons.
Not that that means if you chose to be a daemon that your character will be bad, just that most normal humans will most likely turn on you if they find out you are one.
I know that's kind of a rough outline, but I just want to see who's interested.

I don't know if I like the 1800s thing, but with a bit more work on the story it could be good.
Plus, it's not like there's anything else going on right now so I guess I'm in.

This sounds pretty neat actually, I quite enjoy the 1800s theme.
This is the only part that I have question with. Must a daemon character be bad?

No. It is not daemon in the sense we know it. It is a word the normal humans have given to these animal shapeshifters. You will be bad in their eyes, but your true alegiance is up to you.

it looks good so far skid, but you need to make a character template for people to build their characters around.

Really? Ok, I will do that sometime today. See, I'm slowly catching on on how these new boards are s'possed to work.
Also, 1800's, because then the world will still be preatty similar to how it is now in terms on cities and countries, but it will be without technology, and back when "magic" and all that was still believable.
But I guess that it would have to be early 1900's for that.
I dunno, it can change if people want it to. I'd just rather not have a completely modern one, becasue the story kind of sings "fantasy." But it's what ya'll want.

Sounds interesting and quite original. Count me in. However, I think it'd be better if there wasn't any magic involved. Have the setting be realistic and all, but have these mutants as well.

Magic is not involved.
It seems people want it to be a present day rp so it shall be done.

I actually like the idea of having in in the 1800's, or even 1900's. I don't like a modern or future setting in RP's...
