Gaia Blade has the highest attack power, and it raises your earth power AND resist by 20, making it extremely powerful when combined with Warrior's Helm, raising your earth power by a combined 30. the added +5 from the spirit gloves is nice, too. as for its unleash, Titan Blade is very powerful, and it has a high uleash rate, too.

so, give the Gaia Blade to Isaac, combined with Warrior's Helm, Spirit Gloves, and Hyper Boots, and it is the best weapon by far.

i dont know why, but in GS2, the GS1 weapons are really bad, except for gaia blade, which is decent...

Swift Sword and gaia blade are the best. Kikuichimonji wasn't as strong as i'd hoped :). To think i wasted many hours of my life walking left and right in venus lighthouse ^_^.

What is the apocolypse unleash? is that the one that looks like titan blade but much worse? :D

The Swift Sword is the one that increases your wind power by 10, and will occasionally unleashes a triple-strike. (Just to remind you).

Personally, after many tests and thoughts, there is ONE rule you need to know.

Obvioulsy the Gaia Blade is the BEST Long Sword in the game. Give to Isaac with the Warrior's Helm for best use.

You then need to worry about a Light Blade for Ivan. If he is below level 40, give him the K-Sword. He needs the attack boost and consistancy. If he is above level 40, give him the Swift Sword. The 3x hit at higher levels will let him deal 600+ damage.

Then you need to worry about Garet. He should be able to use the Muramasa best although any other high attack weapons will do.

I also like the Crystal Rod for Mia. The chance of a OHKO isn't too good, but the rod has enough power to be useable when you actually make Mia attack.

And there you have it.

What are you talking about? As you said, you can only get a 1x multiplyer, and 3x multiplyer. The Bandit's Sword can sometimes hit for a 2x multiplyer too.

There's no doubt about it. It's the Gaia Blade. Maybe with unleashing attacks other weapons can be stronger, but I doubt that too, because Gaia Blade unleashes Titan Blade, and that attack is very strong.

I'm not convinced. I had a play with the Swift Blade and it's unleash is very good, the only thing which lets it down is it's standard attack. Gaia Blade is easily the best all round attack with a good unleash, but I think if you can boost your critical hits with the Swift it could be a winner!

Gaia Blade is like the Sol Blade. Consistant Damage with or without unleash.

Swift Sword is like Excalibur or Tisiphone Edge. You have decent, but not great standard attack but GREAT unleash damage. In GS 1 case, the SS can out damage the Gaia Blade at high levels.

I've always preferred the Swift Sword to the Kikuichimonji...I mean, I used to think that the K-Sword was worth looking into simply because it was rare, but now that I've picked up 3, eh...who needs it anymore?

Belive it or not, that extra 25 can be easily canced out by its multi powerful unleash. IT's unleash can do just the same, and even beyond!

Gaiablade has a fairly strong unleash with elemental bonus, but it's nowhere near the full damage of Swift sword, which really dosent math up to the comparison of Sol Blade with T-edge or ecalibur "all wapons cause fairly the same damage, which makes the sol blade the winner for concistancy", and the base attack damage isnt really much of a difference.


K-sword is weaker than G-Blade in liek every way, so it cant compare.

Its a short sword that the best weapon for ivan(in GS1).When you unleash it a spirit of a warrior come out with white hair and as ivan strikes ur enemy so does the warrior.

I think it was the Assassin's blade. not sure, but i know someone that beat the game using it. at level 14 ish i think. the only thing lacking in those weapons is the percent of unleash.
