Sort of a standalone expansion to Halo 3. Like Crysis Warhead to Crysis.

This is interesting for a few reasons:

You are not Master Chief

So this makes me wonder. How will this game play out? You are not a SPARTAN, you are a human in a team similar to that of the SWAT team. So will it be a bit more focused on squad-based shooting like COD4? Tactical shooter? Or will it just be Halo 3 with the shields disabled so you have to find other means of taking down the enemy?

Probably the third one if they're in it for the money. ;)

Sounds interesting to say the least. They could actually make something pretty decent out of this.

Wiki says the game will be a prequel, at least to the third game.

Ya it was a joke by me. Funny, right?

Anyways, I always like prequels. They make you want to play the original game again and you look at it a different way. For better or worse, of course.

****ing yes. It doesnt have master chief, so its already one hundred times better. Looks interesting, i'm definately gonna buy it.

Going with the new halo trailer that has recently been released, this is the corresponding game so it's going to be mainly about the flood. Probably. And the game codenamed "Halo Blue" that everybody was speculating about is probably this as well.

Of course, once you reach the end of a series the only logical course of action is spinoffs. And we've got three of them in the works already.

ODSTs don’t know how being dropped from a space ship is gonna help in gameplay, but never the less this should have little to none focus on the flood considering its set in new Mombassa and in Halo 2 der war nun flood there.
