"Unnatural" hair color what do you think of it?

Instead, I've been thinking PINK. :P
Something like this, actually:
http://skelanimals.com/myspace/highend/1.jpg
There are a lot of different colors out there, but we're restricted by society to go with brown, blonde (which is basically really light brown), red and maybe black if its natural. There are a lot of schools and workplaces that have a dress code restricting "unnatural" hair color, but do you think that's right? I mean, I understand that a dress code is in place so no privates are hanging out or anything, but Hair color? Isn't that a little extreme? And why do people get so bent out of shape about "unnatural" colors?
Your thoughts?

I once dyed may hair pink for Red Nose day. It was a thing in school and most people only did a little bit, but I went the whole hog. Washed right out though.

As for hair, I just point and frown at people with wierd hair colours. For some reason I think it isn't normal. Thus they want to be different, *bang* wierdo stamp on your forehead. No good reason though.
...Though don't ever take any advice from

The only time I've ever done anything of the sort to my hair was senior Halloween in high school. My friend lent me his Ichigo costume (from Bleach), and he gave me spray paint to give it an orange tinge.
Felt awkward, I'll tell you that much.

It's not so much about being different or making a statement. I mean, I'm pretty modest when it comes to most situations. I was talking to my friend's cousin, and he was dressed the way I like to, but then he started going off and talking about getting drunk and smoking pot and all that sh*t. He's a definite steriotypical "scene kid" and even admitted he dresses that way just to look like one. But that's not me. I like the scene kid style, but I'm not that way really at all.
Oh, and I'm glad that there are people who are willing to say they don't know why they think a certain way. It's refreshing to see people not try to justify every single little thing they believe or think.

If you want to change your haircolor, dye it a natural color. I've always thought fake colors looked wierd.
I suppose pink highlights wouldn't be too bad though.
I guess it's really all just a matter of opinion. I mean, I wouldn't ever dye or bleach my hair, but it doesn't really look that bad on some people.

Also, if you dye your hair a "regular," colour, I really suggest against black. Dying your hair black KILLS your hair.
EDIT: btw, Lemontime posted within the five word limit and was relevant to the topic without really saying insulting to anyone personally, he just stated his opinion. :x

And there's a style I've seen with dark-haired girls, which is to dye their bangs a brown/yellow color, or sometimes even a faint dark red. Subtle and smooth, it's nice if it blends in and doesn't contrast as much.
If anything though, I'd probably be more attracted to different hair styles as opposed to colors.

If I told you right now--that just the other day, I closed my eyes, and imagined that a monkey was in front of me, and that he just magically appeared--would you beleive me?

I like natural hair colours on girls, love highlights, tips and layers especially. We were playing what you find un/attractive about the opposite sex at a 18th one night, I said hair and I mean it. Girls who have nice, natural, well kept hair is a plus for me.
I see where you're coming from Icy, I wanted to get liberty spikes/mohawk earlier this year with one half dyed black and one half bleached blond (pretty much what one of the Good Charlotte members had) before I realised what a douche I'd look like.
I don't really like extreme hairstyles or colours, but that's just me, it's your hair and you can do what you want with it.
Where's your head at anyway?

I'd agree that dying hair a natural colour is fine, but unnatural just seems a bit too 'wacky' for me.

Anyway on topic.
I would love to have some blue or purple in my hair, but since my hair is naturally black I don't think it'll show up well. If you want to not offend people, go with some blond/red high lights. If you want to go wild, get some good old neon color highlights in. I really like the deep chestnut brown with pink combo. Just don't try to do any unnatural colors with blond hair besides brown/black. It'll look bad. XD;

And you're lucky. I wish I could have black hair and have it look natural. And why is it that Asians always have the best hair? I mean, seriously, you never see an Asian with a bad hair day!

Black hair is lucky? It is a pain in the butt! People notice more if it is dirty! DDD:
But it is good for hair dyeing... proven if you can get the dye to sink in. XD

I remember you, you're the .hack girl. :P
And I loved when I had my black hair. I really rocked it well. Getting pink hair was mistake though. But it looked dope for for the tips when I still had it black.

Try again. I'm a stoner/skater/"wigger" as PDM would so wrongfully call it. You logic is very flawed Atoli.

My sister just can't stay with one hair color, she's not really anything.
And the person who is being assigned a nickname can't ever choose. I call you kitty, and kitty you shall be.

I know a girl who had beautiful red hair (Have a soft spot for red heads btw).
Then she went and dyed it black, with a blue stripe down the side. What a waste.
"Yay I fit in now"
Pfffft.

I was just listing some examples. There are plenty of other people who dye their hair for a different reason... XD;
