On one file, I've been level 99 for a very long time. I have two other files which are for my challenges and things of that sort.

For the first Golden Sun, my levels are generally high 20's- low to mid 30's, while at the end of TLA, I usually muster around the high 40's (I train to the mid-50's since for most classes, the final Psynergy techniques are gained then).

Yeah, people have done that. A friend of mine got there. His hours went like 120 or soemthing.

Most would perfer GSTLA though , scince you can level up there faster.

You can very easily level up there first before going on to complete the game.

25 -> 30 or so shouldn't long at all. It's only once you hit about 40 that it's gets much slower to level up. I haven't completed the game yet, but I suspect it's fairly straightforward at around level 30-35.

I didn't even do that. The only psynergies that you acquire after lv. 50 are Freeze Prism and Grand Gaia. And they aren't even that impressive.

I think that you level up faster in TLA than in GS1...probably because the monsters offer more EXP?

It takes 3 Fenrirs to get a little over 1000 exp. in GS1, and in TLA, one Cruel Dragon'll give you 800.

It's best to use passwords if you can't transfer and when you do you characters are so dam powerful it took me like 6-15 turns to beat dulluhan.(cheating is fun :D )

Most likely its by cheating. Nobody would have the time and patience to train that high when it takes forever. I just have a set goal, 55-60, then Ill transfer to gs2. People would get so ticked off because you only get a little bit of experience in battle. Maybe someone could post the best way to level up...

Yeah, me too. Took forever, but it's rewarding when you can crush your pathetic level 75 friends who brag about their "power", all the while rubbing it in their faces when they challenge you to a rematch, never knowing what level you truly are. That kind of victory is very sweet. So is crushing Dullahan in the battle mode. Bwahahaha. <_<

meh, i got bored during the summer holidays, so yes, i am L.99

lol, start a save file in easy mode with L.99 characters. it's rather fun. :blink:

a nice tactic when you run into 2 wonderbirds is the following:

1)put the 2 earth djinn that stop your opponent from moving onto different characters.
2)unleash on one and kill the other.
3)the remaining bird will regen dance, reviving the partner
4)set one djinn whilst unleashing on the revived bird. kill the other.
5)repeat step 4 over and over again. see how long it takes before they run instead of regen dancing.

my record: 6 wonderbirds downed in one battle.

:D remember, you get the exp for all killed, so multiple wonderbird exps...

All my characters are lv. 99 and with the best weaponry (or so i think). Don't say I have too much time on my hands. I was strapped for cash, so I couldn't buy a new game so, I put GS2 back in my hands, and pretty soon, I was working my butt off getting too lv.99.

Warning: This gets reallly hard after about lv.80.

I am in lv 70.. but it is not so difficult, if you train at less for 2 hours with the fenix, you'll raise 15 levels.

I think is more interesting to ask which is the lower level for finishing the game.
