Normally, I shy away from drug memoirs just because of how cliched the formula is. Writer starts in present day, looking back upon their mistakes, and then takes the reader through their journey.

Well when I heard that Dream Seller was finally released, I had to check it out, because it was the drug memoir of former amatuer/soon-to-be-pro skateboarder Brandon Novak.

This is a great book. I probably relate to it a little more since I've been through the ****, and because I'm a fan of his, but I still think without the recognition factor I would still enjoy this book. He spares no detail into who he was, and what he used to do to get his next fix.

At one point, he talks about how he once turned a trick for a guy twice his age just to get a line of heroin.

Definetly cop it if you're a CKY/Bam/skateboarding fan.

And even if you're not and just want to read a drug memoir, get this one.
