PROLOGUE.
Jamie MacDonald was late for class, which was rare for her. She was a perfect student. Perfect grades, perfect attendance, the whole nine.
She had gone to a party for the first time in her life the night before, and had had her first taste of alcohal. Before she noticed, she had gone through 10 Vodka coolers. Needless to say, her hangover caused her to miss her bus, and she was forced to take a cab. If only she had stayed in bed...
When she walked into the the class, everybody's eyes darted to her. She could hear people whispering, but she couldn't hear what. She quietly handed Ms. Carnall, her chubby and strict english teacher, a late slip, and made her way to her desk.
The large women turned back to the chalkboard, and continued with her lesson. She was talking about Romeo & Juliet, a play Jamie had read countless times over. She didn't need some this bittch trying to explain the meaning of such an epic love story, a concept Jamie was sure Ms. Carnall didn't grasp.
It was 9:15, five minutes from the bell, when Jamie heard the first shots.

Not enough description, the whole drinking party could have been played out in a chapter, not a single paragraph.

What's funny is that Skidz told me he was going to go into more detail about the party anyway, he just never got the chance. XD
