It was published by Sony. Is it just me, or does it look a little biased? (Hint: Comapre PS3 80GB to the XBox 360 Arcade version using Wikipedia if you don't know the differences.)

Anyway, the seventh generation is the multiplatform generation. At this point it really doesn't matter whether you buy any of the three major platforms (replacing Wii with PC) because you'll still be getting all of the good games anyway. All I'm saying is that I'd expect more people to identify with LBP than MGS, so it would be easier for it to become popular with most people. Heck, MGS probably does have better gameplay.

MGS4 was good, but not amazing.

LBP is fun and unique, but without an internet connection, a decent online community, and patience/imagination the game is a little short-lived.

I respect your opinion, but I have to disagree. I believe MGS4 is the best game so far this generation. It is the closest you`ll come to a full blown movie in a video game. There was one cut scene that went on for 45 minutes....that`s [fornicate]ing epic. And then, when you forget you`re playing a game, it just transitions right from cut scene to gameplay.

But I can tell you right now, it may not be the greatest game this generation, but FF13 will definetly be my favourite.

Guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm not one of those who absolutely hates long-winded cutscenes and declares "OLOLOL MGS IS MOVIE NOT GAME". MGS series is one of my favorite video game series, right next to Zelda.

Okay, I will give you that there are some points where it can be inconveinent to play. But that`s not to take away from the quality of it if you just sit down and paly it for like 2 hours.

It`s an epic game, it`s that simple. For people who say games aren`t art, MGS4 is a game that can prove them wrong. Now to some extent so can LBP, but that`s a different story. That`s about innovation.
