Honestly, I'm skeptical on both sides. I've always been a fan of Google, and Verizon to an extent (Sprint is still my favorite cellular network), but the FCC hasn't impressed me in the last year or so.

I want ISP's and cellular broadband providers to be prevented from throttling legal traffic from competing companies over their network, or charging extra for streaming video or things like that, but I don't want any more than that. And any less would be bad for consumers too.

I'm afraid the FCC might want more, and that Google/Verizon might want less.


Though I'll stay a fan of Google until they start promoting government takeovers. :O

I was in full support of it before the government started to push their own agenda through it.

My uncle bought a Samsung TV recently and he told me something similar. He said that he, himself, barely noticed the lag at all until he went online and read about it. He plays RDR with me and fare in gun fights fine. Unless you're always going to be playing extremely fast paced games where you need that precision, go ahead and get that TV. But if you're not paying for it and it's going to be a Christmas gift anyway, why not ask for slightly better?

Car was coming from the opposite direction, I guess it must have hit some water on the road and spun across to our side. We hit the back of the side of it. My driving instructor was hurt worse than me. I was in hospital overnight because my heart was running faster then it should have done, but I'm a bit better now.

I found Super Mario RPG at my game store for $20, along with Super Mario All-Stars for $25. Out of the following games, if I could only get one, which would be the best? I've never played any of them unfortunately: Pilotwings ($10), Starfox ($10), Super Mario Kart ($15), Illusion of Gaia ($25 o.O). None of the games have box/manual.

So Reading Festival was pretty much the greatest thing that's happened to me.

Friday was crazy; saw Lostprophets, Biffy Clyro where there were some bitchin' moshpits for some reason, got right to the front for Queens of the Stone Age and Guns N' Roses. Queens were fuckin' awesome and Guns, despite coming on an hour late were just..mental. Fucking blew my mind.

Saturday was even better; Zebrahead, Crystal Castles, Enter Shikari and Pendulum. Cant fucking get over how good Pendulum were, still buzzing from them. And sat night was brilliant, got blind drunk with some friends and found some guy with a radio on his shoulder and started a moving rave, dancing around all the campsites gathering a following of 30-40 people.

Sunday was less good; saw Limp Bizkit though wasn't in the crowd for them which I'm pissed off about. Saw Paramore and Blink 182 in the evening though who were gooood (though got bored of Blink and went to see British Sea Power instead). But oh my fucking god, best weekend of my life so far.

I'm four hours and 46 minutes into Metroid: Other M. The voice actor for Samus only sucks during her monologues. When Samus is talking to other characters in the story it's pretty good. Weird. The game starts off pretty slow with cut-scenes everywhere but it starts to pick up pace and where I'm at right now, I must say that I'm really getting into what's going on.

There are a few complaints I have though, mainly that it lacks that distinct Metroid atmosphere for a lot of the game, and that it's linear -- more like Metroid Fusion than Super Metroid or Metroid Prime.

So you find out that the Galactic Federation is using the Bottle Ship as a place to clone each creature/monster in the universe and use them as bio-weapons. Near the beginning of the game you see this little creature guy that following you. Then later you see its shell, as if something hatched out of itself. Then you encounter it again and it's a bird looking monster. Now where I am you see the bird looking form on a wall because it morphed again. You go into the next room and... It's fucking Ridley! The cut scene that takes place is just epic. It captivates Samus' emotions well, and it all works because Ridley killed her parents and Samus kills Ridley in Super Metroid (which Other M is a sequel to).
