The actual building is 2.5 blocks away and can't be seen from the site. The proposed building has a swimming pool, a basketball court, a cafeteria, and an art exhibit; the design is modeled after a YMCA center.

I do personally still have very mixed views, and I can understand the emotions that run either way - I actually lean towards preferring it not be built. But to label it purely as a mosque isn't quite accurate; it's a building that's meant more as a community center for the area and is meant to host activities and conferences and be a public institution offering many facilities, one of which just happens to be a particular place of worship.

So, my 360 is being shipped out Thursday (A friend of mines is going New Jersey for two weeks), but I do not have the box. My sister bought the 360 in K-Mart, and she has the box in NY.
So, anyone knows Kmart's return policy? Do I need the box to replace the 360? I called the Kmart where my sister bought it, but wow, the girl was realllly confusing (thanks MagicJack!), and I am not sure still... From what I gather you do NOT, need the box... but I need verification.

I've got a Pearl VX100 or something like that. I think it was on sale for $400 at some point. Pretty good deal because it's a decent set and came with an extra tom (and hardware).

Musician's Friend is a pretty good website. I believe that they sell used stuff too. I'd also look for a Guitar Center as they've got drum kits and stuff there too. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a full kit (BD, SD, 2 toms, a crash/ride, and a hi-hat) for $250. Even if it's used (unless it's as bad as the one that my friend has. It came with the house his parents bought, and it's horrible. Sounds better now that he's got some decent heads though).


I'm really only familiar with Pearl's stuff though as that's mostly what I've used, but DW is about the best you can get (though you'll pay for it). DW cymbals are horrible, but the shells are superb.

AccuWeather.com is my favourite, and imo, the most reliable Weather forecasting website in the world (most schools... internationally... recommend it, and rank it highly, usually second to a German Weather website)
I've seen many of their Meteorologists appear on CNN, Fox News and other news media. They are quoted in most weather articles, when someone outside the organisation speaks.

Plus, more importantly becoming a Meteorologist is high on my career list. I have two and a half more years of Uni work, but I had to take a break because of lack of funds. So I used my current qualifications to work at my local Met Office (and hopefully they'll fund my studies soon!). Great experience so far. I'm gonna be a bad ass forecaster. I've gained so much experience and knowledge there...
