Please note that I made a similar topic here, but that was specifically focused on games.
What do you want to brought back from the past? There's so many movies and TV shows that we thought were gone that have reappeared, but what else do you want to see return?
For me, it would be stuff like:
Wacky Races
The Crystal Maze
Knightmare (Can't ever see that happening)
Interceptor (Definitely wouldn't happen)
There's probably more but I can't think of them right now.

I think they're hoping that the new video game will bring back interest in the series enough so that they can make a third movie.
I've never actually seen Ghostbusters though. I may have to rectify that situation.

The new transformers suck massive penis. They look like they were made from Tonka trucks.

I'd like to see Dexter's Lab come back, along with a number of cartoons I grew up watching. But I'd DEFINATELY like to see Toonami come back. And I don't mean the crappy version of it that they ended with.

Old school rap would be nice too. Pretty much everything made by rap artists today sucks and lacks any talent or depth at all. It's just random swearing and strange moaning put to synthesized beat.

I'd like to see Cowboy Bebop brought back somehow, but I have a feeling that wouldn't turn out well. I also like the IGPX shorts far more than the actual show that came out later. It had a kickass game on Cartoon Network's website. Brutally hard too.

Need For Speed needs to go back to it's roots more. I still claim Porsche Unleashed as their best game (incredible attention to detail and unparalleled customization, though Carbon and Pro Street brought back the level customization, if only really in the bodys of the cars and not their guts), and Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit had very detailed bios on all of the cars in the game. Something more recent NFS games are severely lacking in.

I'd like to see AMD give Intel a run for it's money again. More competition means better quality components at lower prices. It's nice to see that ATi was able to do that to Nvidia though. The Radeon HD 4000 series is awesome, and the GeForce GTX 200 series is shaping up to be good too.

I wish snack foods and store bought food in general would be less fake.

And that's about it.
