Barcelona were the better side, no doubt about it. Yes I'm disappointed but they were entertaining to watch.
EDIT: Treble of Mickey Mouse cups? Liverpool mastered that in 2001.

O well, let's just hope the UEFA does a better job next year, they were really screwing things up this year.

i think you'll find a UEFA cup is a touch more difficult to win than the world club championship

But I will admit, the UEFA Cup carries more weight than the world club championship.

Yeah, the Europa League. In essence it seems more or less the same as the UEFA cup though. They think a name change will change it image from the "2nd best Europa cup" to "another good European Cup" which is pretty foolish. The Champions league will always have way more appeal than UEFA cup/European League.
It gets them to launch a whole new set of branded products though.
I was actually referring to stupid things like fining players because they said things. If you have any criticism on the abitrary these days, you get fined. You should be able to tell the media you think the ref did a bad job. I understand if you call him ****ing moron with balls for eyes or something, but even if team managers just casually mention it, they get fined by the UEFA.
But the UEFA committee has been corrupt for years, Platini should have been kicked out years ago after that stadium scandal a few years ago.

Drogba's huge and he wins so many duels in the field. Chelsea's tactic against Barcelona was everyone in the defense, try and clear the ball to Drogba and then start building up an attack, and it worked for 92 minutes or so. Seriously, Barcelona's goal was so incredibly lucky.
I wouldn't say Drogba is as good as Torres, but he's good enough to be credited.
Though I'd probably go for Lampard and Ballack for the awesome.
