Looks like they`re taknig a page from Nintendo`s book. Atleast they won`t pull a DS and make you buy it to play the newest games.

I`m not sure if that pic is actually it, I think it`s an artists rendition, but it`s pretty damn close.

Right, stop me if any of this sounds familiar...
          - 'Third pillar' model revision
          - Internal flash memory
          - Loss of backwards compatibility
          - New screen size
          - Introduction of downloadable game service D:
The design looks a little rushed to me, though they did put the analog nub in a more classical position this time. But if Nintendo is anything to go by, this one's sure going to be expensive. And what's with the name?

I was wondering when someone was finally going to make a topic about this. Still waiting for someone to mention something about the PS3 Slim.

Anyway, hopefully the fact that it's UMD-less (and thus less mechanically complicated. Let's face it, a sliding mechanism is far less complicated than a media-loading mechanism) will actuallly make it less expensive.

But then again, making it cheaper than the original wouldn't make much marketing sense. At least not until the current PSP stock is depleted. But it sounds to me like they're not going to drop the current model anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure that was fake and more than likely just another Chinese knock-off, just like the infamous Vii.

Maybe. Afterall, the takedown notice came from a Chinese company, and China is known for makeing knock-offs.

But they're also known for accepting a lot of outsourcing jobs. Like the production of products.

This could actually be worthwhile getting. Depending on the price, I might invest in one of these. Will be great for long journeys with films and games seeing as a laptop doesn't cut it on the gaming front.

That was a rumour at best. That picture was just the top of a PS3 removed.

ERDIT - Iève been reading up on the Vii, apperently it actually saw a release??

There was more than a top. There was a bottom and some other stuff. No innards though.

                        Vii was... is... real.

Anyway so let me get this straight. This PSP Go doesn't use UMDs and it's games are instead download to the drive?

They'll do anything stop piracy. I find this amusing because about 90% of the PSP's fan base was because it could be hacked.
