I'm still not sure how I feel about Project Natal. It's pretty interesting but I can't get excited for it. Still I'm glad Microsoft didn't embarass in their conference. I think Nintendo's will be worth watching for the akwardness alone.

It's been a great E3 so far. I remember last year thinking, 'Why do they still bother?' This year reminded me why.

the wii has obvious benefits. Personally I think the Wii is better than both.

While the motion sensing is brilliant, the flaw in the MS version comesin things like movement. Imagine you wanted to make an fps with this natul setup. The combat could be cool, but what happens when you want to change weapon? Or keep moving through the level? And you can only strafe a few steps before you walk away from the tv.

Could make a good on-rails shooter though. Otherwise it's awesome for things like teaching software, puzzle games, art programs, **** like that.

While the motion sensing is brilliant, the flaw in the MS version comesin things like movement. Imagine you wanted to make an fps with this natul setup. The combat could be cool, but what happens when you want to change weapon? Or keep moving through the level? And you can only strafe a few steps before you walk away from the tv.

Could make a good on-rails shooter though. Otherwise it's awesome for things like teaching software, puzzle games, art programs, **** like that.

Plus there's no way to actually shoot, unless it recognises finger movements.

I suspect there'll be a light-gun attatchment kinda thing for that.

It certainly sounds that way. Never mind the fact that we haven't yet gotten Final Fantasy XIII, but to launch XIV in the same year? It is absurd, even if it is meant to be an MMORPG.

Though I suppose, seeing that FFXIII is already being localized into English, development there likely ended sometime ago. That definitely frees up resources for Square Enix, but when there is also XIII Versus and Agito...

That news about FFXIV totally disappointed me, mostly because it's the secret MMO Square-Enix has been working on...I was really expecting something else.

This makes me hope even more than FFXIII truly delivers.
