I just sent off an email to the camelot webiste, not sure if I sent it out to the right email address, since they don't seem to have an American website, but I sent one anyways.

Why wouldn't we first let them make the actual game. That's kinda what we've all been waiting for for years.. X.X

OMG this is the best idea ever. someone start a petition or something 8D

also they typoically do concept art as part of the development . They would just bundle it all together in a nice book and tada, collector's edition release.

At this point, I've waited long enough to be alright with doing that. I'm not concerned with collect-ability, I just want a freakin' art book and/or soundtrack.

I will email this link today and politely pester.

Atlus does have a history of shipping soundtracks with their games, though, don't they? Interesting.

Thats why I said we should bug the crap out of them. Sure they can ignore one fan, but what about the masses! Granted, I wouldn't call us a "Mass" really.

They do things like this for promotional purposes for games that have a decent following. GS is pretty well-known, I only seem to be meeting more and more people who have played the series or at least know a decent bit about it, so much I've lost count. More than ten for sure.

But I'm having a hard time seeing justification for putting together an art book to be published and then sold, which cost money and needs to have foreseeable profit... but I'll try this anyway! Can't hurt, might be fun.

For Knights in the Nightmare, I only got two copies of the game but 3 art books. Can't be that bad if I got extra art books.

The funny thing is that no one reserved it either so Atlus just probably made more then they thought they needed. They don't charge more for Artbooks or anything so I doubt the companies are loosing too much money over making them.

I doubt they'd do that with every game. I would expect something like an artbook in a preorder though. A soundtrack just seems to be unlikely for me though since I'm assuming the music will be "handheld quality" unless they record a live, orchestrated version of the songs.

Camelot and Nintendo love this guy though, I bet they paid him out the ass if he is doing it. Plus he teased us with a song in Smash Bros so it would be cruel if he didn't.

he'd probably love the idea of doing a new GS soundtrack, assuming he isn't already working on it, or hasn't been asked.
