Honestly all games should do this, or all the ones with decent character creators should. People might actually create characters they like that way instead of just making something that looks "Human enough" so they can get on to the playing part of the game.

Hopefully it doesn't suck massive balls and create only inhumanly ugly people like the Neverwinter Nights 2 and Oblivion creators.

You can make normal looking people with oblivion, even quite good looking ones if you were any good with it.

And I saw a review of the Dragon Age game the other day, it seemed interesting enough to play, a bit gory though.

You could turn violence levels down in Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights, you can probably do it in Dragon Age, too.

As for Oblivion's character editor, my sister and I both made attractive looking characters each after a few failures, if we do say so ourselves. But the fact you need skill to create a good looking character to play as is kinda... stupid. Bethesda should have just made their own face editor rather than buying a stock program used by cops.

I kinda agree with Saturos, the blood is a little OTT and unrealistic, particularly on the finishing blows. I'm not squeamish, but it looks like they're trying to go for the stylish violence of God of War or Ninja Gaiden but it just falls flat and looks ridiculous. I like the blood forming on the character models as they fight, but I'll turn down just the death animation blood if I can.

Mind, what happens if you take a picture of someone dying in VATS?

I'd say Fallout 3 was less violent than this, but Bethesda fails at making ANY moving object look good, so I didn't really like the violence and gibs in Fallout 3 either.

Well this is supposed to be a sex and violence type game, just like the lives of the games target market.
