Increased avy size

    Just thought I'd see if anybody but me wants a bigger avy limit.

    I was thinking something like 200 x 300, or even 150 x 300... just atleast increase the vertical size. i'd like to have straight up and down avy's

      150 x 150 isn't large enough?

        i dunno, im just used to 150 x 300 on a few other forums that i go to. it's not a huge deal, just thought i'd bring it up, cause i'd be happy to see it happen.

          Well to put in perspective, the avatar limit was 100 x 100 originally. If anything, I find the current limit to be too large... what do others think?

            Keep it the way it is. I would even suggest going down to 125x125.

              150 x 150 is enough, horizontally it fits nicely within the column. The problem with allowing more vertical pixels is that some people would stretch their posts given the aka and location fields.

              I mean, my current avatar is 150 x 118, but with my location, aka field, and avatar, my posts are longer than SoTs even if we both post only one line.

                and that, to me, seems ridiculously large. but seems the general consensus is keep it the same, so ill shut up :(

                  I'm with GL on this one; I think the current limit is fine. If I had my way, we'd limit signature image sizes too, as I find many of them to be too large and distracting already. I think a good compromise is to leave it how it is.

                    What the hell? I've never seen anything larger than 150x150 on any respectable boards. I was flabbergasted when we upped the limit the first time, I doubt you'll have any chance of the max size bieng incrased agained.
