I'll keep that in mind when my software developer friend of mine and I actaully ever get around to developing a game.

Well it's just kind of an idea right now. My [nerdy] friends and I pretty much have the brains and resources to make a hell of a lot of money (and make a lot of cool things while making said money), but no one ever gets around to doing anything because we're either busy, forget, or (in my case) lazy.

But I've got Mike Blaszczak's personal business card, and an invite to take a tour of Valve's facilities. I think that'd be a great avenue from which to get ideas for game engines and stories and whatnot.

On a side note, I also have shaken the hand of the CEO of the Evergreen Freedom Foundation, and have gotten an invitation from a guy (who's a junior in college and already has 3 senators in his resume) to look at potential colleges I might be interested in.

I'm also giving some tech advice to the most followed non-celebrity on Twitter. She can apparently reach 2 million within ten minutes. I'm sure that'd be a great advertising venue for me some day.

Yeah games take a lot of people. I'll write the plot for you, you've seen my awesome RP's before!

Okay, so there's this soldier and he's at war, and he's got a hero and in his first battle the hero die-..

Let me think about it for a while..

That's exactly the point of it, as satire. It's to show that FPS games, particularly WWII based ones, are mostly carbon-copies of the same generic formula. I found it rather amusing, even the part about choosing the title is true.

It's not really telling us anything new... well, at least not for me, but I probably spend an unhealthy amount of time gaming and thinking about the gaming industry.

It's a well constructed article though, and was a lot of fun to read. Good find GL
