Hopefully I'll be able to show you a video soon. Of course, watching it on a screen isn't the same as actually being in the theater, but I guess it's better than nothing. :)

I should probably explain what it's all about: this is a cabaret type performance made up entirely of choreographies. There are only a couple of lines. Anyhow, what we've tried is to show the movement and humour of the old black and white silent films(such as Charlie Chaplin) on stage.
Here's a photo to give you a vague idea of what it looks like:

I'm the guy to the far right, next to the girl.
So all in all, it's definitely not your typical play. It's very original, and I was genuinely suprised by the extremely positive feedback from the audience, both from the regular people and the famous actors and directors that saw us. Tonight however, is the actual premiere of the play which will be visited by a far larger number of actors and, more importantly for me, directors.

So, when are we gonna see you shine in the movie theaters? A new blockbuster with Brad Pit, Angelina Jolie or Johhny Dep? :joy:
I wish you the best of luck man.

Imo, the best actor out now is Sandra Bullock.
Btw, I really recommend The Lovely Bones. Omg, that movie is SAD, but FANTASTIC. My eyes were teary the entire time. Honestly =[

Best movie I've seen that was released in 2010.
But then, that doesn't really matter, considering it is the only 2010 release I've seen. The other trailers just didn't excite me.
Better than the trailer btw. If you like sad movies, go with this one lol.

Sorry about this, but I just gotta tell you guys that I got a role in a TV series. They don't start filming my scenes until October, but this is awesome, more acting for me and another great opportunity to be noticed by big-name directors, the same way this big-name director noticed me at my acting exam. :P
Getting ANY roles is incredibly difficult, but I'm doing great, I've completely dedicated myself to getting as many as possible and have been working my ass off, also I've been extremly lucky. The way things are going I should be getting new roles every two or so months soon.
Don't want to sound like I'm bragging, just thought I'd let you guys know. :D

PDM: It's based on an old Serbian novel called The Scent of Rain on the Balkans.

@GL: I've already had a couple of not exactly hardcore sex scenes, but sex scenes nontheles. After seeing them my friends keep asking me how I don't get a boner, and they simply don't seem to understand that when I'm acting I'm in a different state of mind which doesn't allow for boners.. Unless if it were to be specifically requested of me by the director of course. :P

And yeah, you should at least try to make a career in your home country first I guess. Why London over Hollywood though? Don't really hear much of them.

So you could have asked me, why Serbia over Hollywood then? Even less is heard about our actors than the London guys. The thing is, I find Hollywood disgusting. I guess the main reason for that is simply because it's in the USA, a country that I have vowed never to visit, no matter what kind of business opportunity could await me there. My main reason for going into acting isn't fame, and I definitely do not want to be world famous, and be in all the tabloids and chased by the paparazzi like those pathetic Hollywood actors. I DO want to be famous, but being famous in one country(be that Serbia or Britain) is enough for me.
But why have I chosen the London theaters? Because that's where the best acting is. The quality of what they do is matched by no one, lots of money is being invested into the business yet tradition and real acting still exist, unlike in Hollywood. Not to mention that their best theaters are absolutely spectacular and grandiose, and their actors are respected by everyone. Well, everyone who knows about them anyway, and that would be all of London, plus much more of Britain.
I should note however, that many of Hollywood's actors had started their careers in British theater, so if one wished to pursue a Hollywood career, it is very possible to do so by taking his or her first steps in Britain.

And sure, principle over success. I don't really abide by that rule, but I think it's more noble.
Good luck Aqua. Will really like to see your acting skills. Don't they do amateur video recording in those theatres you act in? I know some theatres ban the practise.

To be fair, enough if you had popped a boner, you wouldn't be the first. Dude on Desperate Housewives (can't forget his name) who had to do a sex scene with Eva Longoria said the first time they did it he had to stay in the bed for like 5 minutes after they cut because he was rocking a stiffy.

I can see where you're coming from, but you have to give credit where credit's due... crash, schindler's list, stand by me, the godfather... most high caliber movies of the past 20 years have been Hollywood brainchildren
