HDR stuff
(Consider these a work in progress, I am aware that my lens randomly got dirty and the horizon is off on some of them. It is embarrassing. I had no idea at the time as I couldn't tell from the previews. I'll touch them up as best as I can when I get photoshop for this compy)

The second colored one looks really cool.
Do you want to get into photography professionally?

Used to, not anymore though. Don't really think I'm cut out to make it big in photographyz. I'm a passionate hobbyist I guess.

I'm gonna assume you're not doing the legit HDR photos (actually stacking multiple photos and retouching / editting each individual photo to suit) and that's where pretty much all of those have slipped up. You've lost (I feel) a LOT of detail due to the processing you've done to all of them, and they're all looking extremely 'soft'.
You've got some nice composition going, don't mess it up with silly effects <3

Actually it is legit HDR. I agree the photos got soft, I think it's because I got some tripod shake that's blurring out details. Gotta get a remote button so I don't touch the camera... I'm not really used to using a tripod yet, that's why my horizons off on certain photos too. Damn slope.

These new pics are much sharper thanks to my new remote button. After adjusting aperture and shutter speed and setting up the brackets, I don't have to touch the camera at all. Sweet!
I still have some ghosting on the trees, but hopefully I can fix that once I get photoshop. Apparently my lens is still dirty. Dammit.
Not gonna bother posting thumbnails since it doesn't do justice with HDR photos. Honestly, I don't like these ones so much, so if people want to tell me what they think, please do. I'm still playing around with this technique. These are with three photos rather than five, as my camera actually only allows for three bracketed photos. I could take two sets of three photos and remove the second photo that had the same exposure, but if I did that I'd get ghosting again from the inevitable slight shift of the camera that comes with pushing the buttons. BUT, I would have a wider range of light available to me, so I dunno... choices.

Or, instead of spending money on a remote button, you could've just used a timed delay =O
You really only need the remote if you're taking stuff that isn't going to sit still. Just set the timer for a few seconds, stand back, and presto.
Nice photos btw. My sister's [future] mother-in-law is starting up a professional photography business. She's got this massive Cannon EOS something or other that costs about $2000. It's freakin' nice though.

From what I've seen this batch is nice but really small. Can you post them in higher res?

That's been there since the second HDR pic in this topic where I made the rookie mistake of wiping my lens with a shirt I'd been wearing all day.
This is true, but the one I got was like 75% off so I figured I'd go for it.

Alright don't post the pics in higher res. Nobody needs to see them in detail.
