Will be releasing in Japan on February 26th, 2011, and March 2011 for NA and EU. Price is roughly $300 from a direct conversion from Yen to USD, so it'll probably be around $250 here.
Most awesome thing: Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, and classic games will be released over a VC service and will be playable in 3D.

It's a beast.
.....for a handheld. Though I'd much rather see it being made with this sucker. But then again, I hear there's still people out there who like having more than a half-hour of battery life, so maybe Nintendo made the right choice on this one.
However, I don't understand why Nintendo continuously insists on using dual-chip configuration. Ever since the Sega Genesis (or maybe Staurn? Can't remember which came later), 1st party companies have known how hard it is for developers to code for multiple-chip systems. The PS2 was pretty bad itself as well.
Though since these are ARM cores, and they're very similar to each other (and not proprietary), I suppose it's not as bad.
