The last of the 33 miners was just pulled out. They were underground for 69 days (the longest for any such mining accident in history) in a 90 degree (30-35 C) environment and were even thought to be dead for the first seventeen. The miners rationed out 48 hours worth of food to last for the first two weeks until the first contact was made and food and supplies were provided to them.
It was quite mesmerizing to watch how the procedure was put together. Every detail was meticulously planned, and this should be a very proud moment if you're a Chilean indeed.
