Putting old computers to good use

    So, I finally got my HS's computer lab back up and running properly (with a ton of help from a friend of mine who's basically a professional at that kind of stuff).

    Anyway, now that that's taken care of, I'm going to do something awesome with the crap lying around the lab. We've got a whole shed filled with old Dell GX270's and 260's, and I'm going to make a cluster out of them.

    Then I'm going to run a minecraft SMP server on it. :D


    This will be ran in a VM on CentOS and will utilize the awesome load balancing feature Xen has to make good use of the computing resources I make available to it.
