I've always been a fan of golden sun music and dark dawn is no exception. Its great im glad they got the original composer to do the music this game series wouldn't be the same with out Motoi Sakuraba.

The music in dark dawn isn't as repetitive as the previous games. Different battle music, different boss music etc..

The music sounds incredibly similar to the GBA music. I was kinda hoping for something more....natural? Symphonic? I dunno. It just sounds too much like a GBA. Also, I'm not too fond of some of the themes. Though in general, I like it. Still waiting to here a remix of Elemental Stars though. >:(

The music in Dark Dawn did its job. Personally I wasn't blown away by it, nor does any one track stand out among the others. I still listen to the soundtrack from the first Golden Sun games and overall it felt like a similar style of music for the new tracks.

Incidentally, this battle theme sounded better in the GBA version, in my opinion.

Starting at 32 seconds, and again 4 bars after this part starts where the "solo" comes in. I love the underlying synth, and the slipperiness of the "solo." (The adjective makes sense to me at least.)

GS soundtracks are probably the worst things Sakuraba has worked on
