Searched and didn't find a topic.
Anyway, it seems like the PS3 version of the game is going to be the best deal, at least for consoles.

Dunno any details regarding 360 though.

Sorta looking forward to this game. Ehhh...
Portal was amazing, but seriously? Hey internet: "the cake is a lie" is the most overused phrase and one of the worst memes to ever grace messageboards. GLaDOS thought that cake would be a good motivator for humans to complete and cooperate with tests, the cheese at the end of a maze if you will. The writing on the wall simply reflected previous subjects going insane, trying to comprehend the whole experiment. The joke is GLaDOS doesn't understand how to motivate humans. And you weren't ACTUALLY supposed to like the companion cube, it was a device used in the story to show GLaDOS' inability to understand the nature of human compassion, thinking that humans would be able to empathize with an inanimate object by putting a heart on it. You weren't intended to like the damn thing, or feel bad by roasting it in a fire. I loved the game, don't get me wrong, but holy hell was it ever so slightly overrated.
But yeah, I'll play Portal 2. :P

Why should you feel compassion for it? It's a cube with a heart on it.

Most of the story was satire, good sir. Of course you're not going to fall in love with a cube. However, putting a heart on it and calling it a "Companion Cube" was a good jab at humor. :O
As was GLaDOS (Glad OS? Like it's happy? Geddit?).
And it was interesting to find spots in the game where previous subjects would hide out.

Basically what I was trying to say is, I can't be the only one that got bored with "THE CAKE IS A LIE HERP" in every thread up to a year after the game was out, and hell even still sometimes today? :\ Thanks Portal!
