Chapter one
“Alright Zaniel come into the castle” One of the Lemurian guards instructed me.
“ Ok thanks” I entered into the castle to see what awaited me and to see why the Lemurian King wanted me to come in secret of night.
As I entered the castle I was astonished by how much gold was in just the bottom floor. I walked along until I saw two marble staircases to climb. I choose the left staircase. Once I got to the top I turned around and realized how huge the bottom floor was, it had amazing paintings everywhere a few golden tables, golden lamps, golden handrails, and the entire floor was made of marble.
Snapping out of my daze I continued down the hall to the next site of staircases and admired beautiful paintings of the king and his family also the floor was made out of marble but in the area before the staircases the was a golden sculpture of the king with a cheap fake grin on his face. Heading up the stairs I found the king waiting for me with a weary smile.
“ Hello young mercury adept. This may be odd but the doctor of aging will measure you up to see if you are prepared.” Before I could object a beautiful woman came out of the room near the king, grabbing my arm, and dragging me along.
I observed her. I noticed that the woman had a red robe which matched her fingernails. She wore cute round glasses, which covered her black eyes that went well with her long brown hair. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail. She had a nice body and a petite cute nose. Then as I looked up I saw that we were heading towards a small room, which had the words measurement room on the wooden door.
As we entered she released me and told me “ please take a seat on the stool after stripping to your boxers.” I did as she told and noticed it was a plain marble room with just a stool in the middle.
After that she took out measuring tape and …well measured me “ hmm so your 15 5’8 and you obviously work out” she said after putting the tape away.
I nodded. “ Your obviously good at using you’re psyenergy
Because I watched you practice yesterday and being able to use freeze prism at your age is very impressive” her voice was high pitched and she sounded like a bird so I almost laughed.
“ Well thank you but what this all this for?” I asked trying to get some answers.
“ The king will explain now please put your clothes back on and come with me, oh how rude of me I’m doctor Kina” She stated
I put my clothes back on and tried introducing myself but she stopped me and said she already knew even though we had never met. We walked back into the room where the king was and he held up a map before me. “ My boy I no you’ve had a tough life the last three years and I’m quite sorry but look at this map do you see the four glowing dots.” I nodded and noticed four dots of red, blue, purple, and yellow. “ Well I don’t and neither does anyone else besides you and that’s why we need you.”

Chapter two
“ What do you mean you cant see it, its right there on the map?!” I said taking the map and pointing at the red dot. “ Plus how do you know about the dots if you cant see them?”
“ Your father could see these dots, which show the locations of the elemtal stars. He told me he showed you a map when you where six you pointed at them and said something about them. That’s how we kn----’’ I cut him off
“You…….You…..” I stared at him I had never been in this castle. I had never known any of this, and now when the king explains this he expects me to believe lies about my deceased father.. Then I thought about it. Why would the king lie to me and bring me at this time of night if he was lying. “ What are you talking about elemental stars?”
As the king tried to explain docter Kina interupted. “ Have you heard of the elemental lighthouses?” I nodded. “ Well to put it simply these ignite the flames.”
“So you need me to light these lighthouses with these star thingys, but
WHY? I started to have an attitude.
“ The world is falling apart gaia falls is growing.” The king chimed in.
“Gaia what???” I was getting lost and I knew if I got lost I’d never catch up.
The king responded “At the edge of the world water is dropping off, and the more falling water the more earth gets broken away and eventually the world will be destroyed.”
I was shoked. I looked at the king to see if he was lying. I saw in his aged blue eyes he wasn’t. He took off his diamond studed golden crown and blue robe leaving just his bald head and tan pants on. I looked a him weird as he approached me. “ Listen my boy you are the only one who can save Weyard. If you do this I’ll make you king”.
My eyes got wide as the wrinkled old man smiled. “ By the time your done you’ll be wiser than me and im getting past three hundred so I wont be here much longer.”
Docter Kina reassured him. “ Daddy don’t even think like that you’ll be here for a lot longer.”
Then it hit me like a ton of bricks Docter Kina was also Princess Kina. I didn’t say or act like I was surprised so I wouldn’t look stupid. “ Well my King I’LL DO IT” I said loudly “but keep your crown I’m doing this for my own three reasons.” One being that I was trying to get out of the responsibilities of being king.
“ And those three reasons are….” The king waved his hand to indicate that he wanted me to tell him.
“ But you don’t have to tell us if you don’t want to.” Kina said trying to be polite
“ Kina’s right you don’t have to.” The king smiled and was tickled by his snow white beard and started giggling.
Sadly the king started gaging and Kina patted him on the back. I knew he didn’t have much time left. He had aging spots on his stomach and he would have been as tall as me but, he was hunched over all the time. “ See my boy I don’t have much time. You must find these stars and use them in the appropriate lighthouse. Whatever you sense in the star will tell you which lighthouse it belongs to. You must hurry and complete this mission. You leave tommorow night. It is almost dawn sleep through the day and I will come to your home at ten o’clock tommorow night. I will bring you armor and a weapon you will also obtain a lemurian ship. I also have another gift for you but that will wait .”
With that Kina ushered the King out of the room to his den. I was then escorted to my home. I was ready for my journey “ yawn” after a little sleep that is.

Chapter Three
It was dark, so cloudy I couldn’t see. Looking up I saw the sun appear and everything got bright. I wondered what just happened. “ wh-where am I?” I asked myself.
The moment those words left my lips it started to get dark again. I glanced at the sun and watched in awe as the sun turned into a cresent. Then the cresent of the sun turned into the cresent moon. Everything was dark. The only thing giving any light was the moon. I was scared and shivered, something was wrong I was never scared, .. at least not anymore.
Suddenly, A high pitched screech knocked against my ear drums. Covering my ears I looked in the direction of where the screech had come from. It was coming from the moon?! There was something up there, all I could make out was a red dot slowly coming in my direction. Without a trace the dot dissapeared.
“ Where did it go.” I murmered trying to get my confidense back up. The back of my neck got really warm like something was….. Breathing On It!!!
Turning aroung I was stunned to see a blured figure of a human with midnight colored wings,who was like a demon. Sadly I couldn’tmake out his or hers features. All I saw was a red being standing before me. Then the demons wings spread out and it drew a weapon which resembled a sword. I tried to scream but I was muted. I tried to use psyenergy but I was tapped.I tried to run but I was completely frozen. Then the blade came down on me.
“ AAAAHHHHH” I awoke in a cold sweat.
I felt my body to make sure it was real and everything seemed ok. I looked at my clock to see what time it was. 7:59 the clock blinked… I had slept through the entire day which then again I did stay up all night. I had no need to go to the castle being the king said he’d come to me. So I just got dressed after showering and looked in the mirror. Gotta impress the king!!!
I looked into the mirror as I put on a plain, long sleeve, cotton shirt. Deciding it was to plain I put a red tunic over it and slipped on some new blue jeans. I missed my dad so I always wore his old boots which suprisingly like everything else they fit and just were plain and boring…. I decided I needed a shave so I did.
My black hair was down to to my neck so it took me about fifteen minutes to comb it. I thought my eyes were gonna be blood shot but they were as always deep blue no red. I walked over to my aunts house ( where my mom had stayed since the incidents.) I knocked on the door and was surprised to see my mom answer the door ( my aunt usually does) “Honey the king told me all about where your going I don’t want you to go but the world is depending on you.” I was shoked that she already knew.
“Mom” I tried to say something but I just couldn’t express my feelings.
“ Come in sweetie” Mom always loved our talks
She handed me a cup of tea and started to say something but for some reason stopped herself. “ What is it mom” Now that she started it I really wanted to know.
“ Well theres a reason I’m so willing to let you go.” She paused and I nodded. “ I don’t think your brothers dead…”
I tried to think about it but mom had a point. “There might be a chance. There was no proof of a break in all was found was him missing and blood in his room. Sadly that means dads suicide might have been over nothing.”
Mom’s tired blue eyes got wide she was hit bad by all the things. She always wore that same thing everyday the clothes she wore when my brother died—disappeared a pink shirt and white pants and pink slippers. She always hunched over like she was in pain and she was on the inside. All she ever did was pat her short brown hair down. People always took pity on her. She had many wrinkles because she hardly ever slept. Her nose was always red from the sun she got in the garden ( she went there to get her mind off of things.)
“ I’ll be back mom I love you” I said kissing her on the cheek as I left
“ I love you too” And I new she meant it as did I.
I went home and waited for the king. Right on the dot He and Kina showed up at ten. “Well heres your armor and sword.” The king said showing off some pretty flashy stuff.
“ Your highness I’m sorry but I’d prefer not to wear any armor and I don’t want a sword I like scythes better…” I told truthfully.
“ That’s ok I thought of everything I saw you using a scythe the other day, so I decided to make you one. Well I had one made for you.” Kina took the most beautiful scythe I had ever seen in my life it was gorgous. It was about three feet long there was a ruby at the handles tip it looked all silver. Plus was graciously sharpened.
“ Yes take it my boy you’ll be needing it tonight.” Kina handed me the scythe as the king continued. “ The special gift I told you last night was a djinn”
“ Whats a djinn?” I asked totally confused yet again.
“ Come with us I’ll explain on the way.” Kina instructed
We walked towards the empty field away from town where a guard was holding a blueish creature. I was shocked I had never seen anything like it. The creatures eyes were a gentle light yellow while its spikes flipped off its head like a smooth cowlick. While its upper half was dark blue its tail was pink and its bottom half were a strange lighter blue but the strange thing it had tiny arms and legs and it was only a half a foot tall. PLus its feet were rounded no toes!! I judged it was weak by its size so I got a little over confident
“ These creatures can aid you in battle they can combine with you and do special attacks or they be combined or by themselves summon ancient creatures. We do not no anymore about them you will have to learn the rest on your own.” Kina was very helpful.
“ I as you know am a water adept and this djinn has gave me much aid in the past. You however will need it more than me on your journey, plus you a wind adept so it can give you new skills. To earn its trust however you must deafeat it in battle.” The king obviously had defeated I’ before because he seemed confident I could do it.
“ Alright lets go” I drew my scythe off of my side where I strapped it.
The guard released it and I ran as fast as I could to get a quick slash sadly the little devil dodged it. I knew I had to corner it so I unleashed my strongest attack “ Freeze plasma” I yelled as I created eight silver, blue boulders of ice which five of them connected knocking the djinn into a daze.
Running over I charged my scythe with my psyenergy and slashed the djinn, creating a longwound in its chest and stomach areas. The djinn obviously freaked because he shocked me with a strong prism attack himself. I was knocked a few feet and hurting in my left arm where the ice boulder had connected but that didn’t stop me. Standing myself up straight I ran towards the djinn who for some reason instead of moving got extremly bright. Then I for some reason couldn’t move and the djinn jumped at me. I watching wide eyed the djinn jumped into my body through my stomach!!!! . ( yes that was impossible because hes half a foot tall)
“ What just happened he dissapeared.” I turned to the king starting to freak out.
“ Calm down my boy he’s joined you, fused with you, added his power to yours whenever you want to summon him just say his name Serac . Right now hes just resting also when you want him to summon a acient creature just tell Blitz to summon Mercury then when you get more than one ask the djinn they’ll tell you.” The old king started laughing
“ They can talk?!! Why didn’t he before?!!” I was stunned
“Yes they can but perhaps he didn’t feel like it” Kina chimed in
They took me to the lemurian ship port and they showed me the one filled with food and supplies. They went over some non important last details and taught me how to sail the ship. “ The currents are strong in the sea of time don’t worry they’ll carry you out to the ocean in no time.” Kina knew I was nervous.
We all said our goodbyes and they wished me luck I asked them to take care of my mom and they promised they would. With that I was OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chapter four
It was beautiful. The sky was so blue and the air so salty, I felt at peace as I let the currents carry me out of the sea of time. All I had to do was watch for monsters. I had been attacked by a few creatures. Like the man who was all green and covered in gills. I recalled Kina mentioning something like what was it… ah a merman and the see through things were jellyfish. I knew already what the flying beasts were they were possessed seagulls.
The ship was amazing it had power, control, and best of all plenty of room. The sea of time was pulling me out to the ocean very quickly I had only been in it a few minutes and the fog was lifting. I was outside on the deck when I was attacked by a fierce Merman this one however was red not green. I wasn’t sure if I could handle it. I took a few quick slashes with my scythe ad cut it in too pieces. My fears were let to rest as I threw the body parts over board and watched them sink.
I went to the front of the deck as the fog lifted ever more. I couldn’t wait to see the outside world. “ It must be amazing having such big towns and many people” I thought to myself.
Sadly as all other things my thoughts were interrupted and I was knocked over as the currents speeded up. I rushed to the wheel hoping to gain control as the ship started to spin. Slowly I felt the ship rotate and to make matters worse not one, not three, but five red Merman’s attacked. I would have easily disposed of them with my psyenergy had it not been for fear of damaging the ship. I tried slashing with my psy charged scythe but all except one dodged, he was of course sliced in half.
Blood spurted in my face and my eyes burned furiously. I used douse on myself to regain sight but my vision was blured. I managed to kill three others the same way as the first and the final one feared for life and jumped over board. By now the ship was spinning faster and I hardly couldn’t stand. Waves were slashing against my body like a psychopath on a killing spree.
I tried my best to get below decks but before I could I was fell from dizziness. Working to get up I used everything I had left but it still wasn’t enough. All I could do was cover myself from the wrath of the sea of time finally it seemed calm. I breathed a sigh of relief but it was short lived. As I stood up I saw the mother of all waves come crashing down on me.
Using my last bit of consciousness I used my psyenergy to freeze a puddle that I held onto until the wave passed. The last thing I saw was me hiting the ground hard and gasping for air. Then everything went dark………
Sorry so short I cant write more canti’s ( a friend of mine whos helping me so the writing may be alil different) got the next 2 chapters
