The last update was kind of forced upon me as I didn't anticipate the site going down while I was away. Anyways, I wanted to brief you all on my status in my "real life." The floors in the room where my normal computer sits are being redone this week, so I will not have access to the main computer with all my software and files until at least Monday. In addition, I recently (about 20 minutes ago) ordered parts for a new computer for myself, so I will be a bit preoccupied with that for the next few days while I anxiously wait for it to arrive and then assemble it.
After the new computer is all set up and I install all my software and move everything over, I have some big things coming for the site. Chief among these big things is a new design, which will be the second design since the merger of Isaac's Revenge and Golden Sun Haven which resulted in GSS back in June 2003. However, the design has been put on hold because I have duties at another site next week coding some scripts, which will also be used as part of the new design to help me manage the site better.
So alot is going on with me lately and in the coming weeks, including the first release of GSW on September 6th. Keep an eye on the GSW site for more on the initial release and our progress.
Additionally, if any of you just happen to have a dedicated server (a real server, not your computer running out of your house) that you would allow us to make use of for load balancing (for GSW), we would be extremely grateful if you could contact us ASAP.
