    Ahh... this is something I only recently found out, in my fifth time replaying Golden Sun ^_^

    Well, to enter Venus Lighthouse, you must first go through the Babi Lighthouse (the ruins, anyway). Where you first meet Faran and use reveal, etc. You must then go to a room with a miniature version of Venus Lighthouse and a statue of a Goddess (I think). You choose one of two paths which will determine different routes to enter Venus Lighthouse.

    Both routes eventually lead to the same puzzle involving five statues of various colors. However, the Southern route leads to an Oracle's Robe while the Western path gets you an Asura's Armor...

    I always thought that once you decide on a path, you cannot change it, and thus, you are able to get only one of the two items. However, you can RETURN to Babi Lighthouse, choose the second path, and receive both armor!!!

    Meh, sad that I found this out now, I know :lol:

      So you'd always play through the game and just get one of the body armors?

        Exactly. So, for me, I'd always have a hard time deciding on getting the Oracle's Robe or the Asura's Armor, only to discover that you can get both.

        Meh =/

            Well, I'd definatly choose Asura's armor given only one option.

                WOW GL you just found this out not big news to me but I see your point. I didn't know that you change djinn with other people beside the djinn that matches the adept.

                    Aren't we just going a little bit off topic, here? o O;

                    Good point, GL. I didn't really remember that, but I did think that there was only one path when you finish the female statue puzzle ...

                      I first figured that out on my third play through. I had gotten the Asura's Armour both times before, and then suddenly I found Oracle's Robe instead?!

                      Then I realised that the path I opened at the fake entrance to Venus Lighthouse changes the road, so I went back and got both in the third play through.

                        That "arduous decision" type thing is a common game element, but try not to think outside the game too much.

                          i think i did know this once :D. It's been so long since i played Golden Sun.
                          I never really gave a lot of thought to stats and stuff. I usually just grabbed one of them on the way through and finished the game with no problems :P.

                            I knew you could switch dijin and get both armours the first time I played it, without help. But I could never find all the dijin in the game until I restarted so I could transfer data.

                              I myself have a very inquisitive nature, so it was inevitable that I would realise that almost instantly. Both the items are on my original Clear Data file.
