Cave West Of Kalay

There's a cave west of Kalay that I'm unable to get into. It's just sitting there with a guard in front of it and the guard is insistent that I cannot get in. After mind-reading him, I found that no one can get in by orders of Layanna and Hammet, but I've only just rescued Hammet from Lunpa!

How the Heck do I get in there and is it worth the effort?

Thanx in advance.

Theres a way to get into the cave from inside of Kalay Town and Kalay Palace, look around a bit, you'll find it. -_-

There is a way first you have to save hamlet in Lunpa. After you do that hamlets wife lets you go into he dungeon to collect her tresures for saving hamlet(even though she doesn't tell you that) After you get the tresures follow the giant river path and keep following it untill you step in another cave that look different there should be a apple there for you and step outside and grab the nut in the tree. After that your done.

Oh, so you mean the cave leads in to that secret aquaduct/sewer place you can access from both the Palace and from behind that white statue in the town? In that case, I guess trying to get behind the guard isn't worth it after all...

Thanks for the help, guys. It's been about three years since I've played this game (which is a good way of keeping everything in it a surprise when you play it again from the beginning).
