Small News And Grim Outlook

The new version of our forum system is finally coming out on Monday or Tuesday, so I really look forward to upgrading the forums. I'm sorry to say that those new skins probably aren't going to reach the light of day anytime soon, even though I almost had them done. I just don't feel that it is worth my effort to continue making new things when everyone just keeps leaving.
As hinted in that last sentence, it has really become more clear to me just how far this community has fallen. GSAR is currently on its death throe, and probably won't last more than a few more months. The great GSR has even fallen to only updating fanfics and such. GSA is pretty much gone as far as I can tell, which is a shame, as it was the first Golden Sun website. Things here have obviously been pretty slow besides GSW. A good number of our veteran forum members have left or are leaving, so I'm sad to see them all go. I just renewed the GSS domain name, but I doubt I'll have to renew again in another year.
Despite all this grim news, and my obviously pessimistic outlook on the future of the community, GSS will not be shutting down in the forseeable future, and I plan to continue to make news posts. I may be starting some new site features like Web Design tutorials or the likes so that everyone has a reason to continue visiting the site.
I'd like to conclude by making a plea for an experienced (note the emphasis) Flash programmer. If you have experience and would like to help us out on GSW, please send me an email with your name, IM info, and links to any of your prior work. Please do not email me if you do not have any experience, as we do not have time to teach.
UPDATE: Since the new design will not be ready soon, I have updated the Top Affiliates bar. Golden Sun Anonymous has been removed because it is no longer active, and Aerie of the Roc, our new top affiliate, has been added. Please check out Aerie of the Roc if you have not before.

But don't worry Max...I'll make sure that this forum stays active...*wink*
If this site ever does go away I, and probaly everyone who signed up will be sad...
GSS was a great site and hopefully will continue to be one...

Don't worry about that.
And once GSW comes out, the forums will flock more people.

So don't lose heart, Max.
After all, when you think about it, with every 1 regular member we lose, we gain, like, 25 new ones.
I don't think the community is waning; not at all (I guess I sound a bit like Conservato ).

Ooookay...
Anyways, I think GSW will revive the community a little, if not a lot.

GSS will always be my favorite website and forums period...I've even setted it to my Homepage :(
I've joined so many forums becuase GSS was my first forum I had actually liked that I've decided that everyone go spread the word! ^_^
Seriously though...Advertise on the sites that you think is popular...

We may never get a GS3, but we'll still think about the time we've enjoyed the game, heart and soul, and maybe--just maybe, Camelot will have the heart to give the community another chance.

One way to keep the site going would be to merge with a site that covers zelda or something and/or start coving more games, but that would then loose the whole GS theme.
Good luck to Max, this whole forum, the site, and the whole GS community, that's the second time I've said good luck on this forum today. Its quite depressing that we need good luck to keep going.
I'm staying on this forum until the end. :P

2.) The GS community is dying, surptise surprise! It was bound to happen eventually, both games are fairly old now.
