After many months of waiting, Invision Power Board 2.0 Final has finally been released to the public. I have upgraded the forums, and to celebrate the event I have switched to the Mercury Skin. The Venus Skin will also become an option soon, but there are some bugs with it that I have to work out.

Also to commemorate the forum upgrade, I would like to announce the appointment of two new moderators: Silo Static and ForteGX. Please treat them kindly and try to make their jobs as easy as possible. Make sure to read the rules on the forum, I made a nice link right up at the top on the left under the banner.

As I said above, the other elemental forum skins will become available in the near future. I hope you all enjoy the new forum system, and let me know if you encounter any problems.

When I was first on I was like... whoa! What happened here?! Although I do miss the Venus Skin (just got sorta attached to it, you know?) this skin is pretty cool too. I like the buttons! :mellow: You're gonna add in mercury djinni to make those columns that shows our status later, right?

That was a bit discouraging ... please give more respect for the moderators, since they work so hard to keep GSSF from being a spam purgatory. :)

AveneR is mostly a mod for GSW forums. I guess he was changed to Global mod. And Julian is on a leave of absence IIRC. So really, it's just MW, Silo, Forte and myself.

Anyways, the new mods sound good.

Note to Max: Beware of the large margins! They can create problems for people with 800x600 resoultions when people have sig longer than 400 or so pixels.

BTW, skin error - quote button has a border. Last of all, make sure to keep the default skin. You never know when you need the old code to look at.

thats what i thought, he just made the banner and used a sprite of mia, but it still looks nice.
