Have fun.
Personally, I'd like to know your opinions regarding what you think are the best animators to use.

If you want kiku, you can give me the frames, and I will animate them.

It faded to black between each slide and I wanted it just to morph from slide 1 to slide 2 and show it morphing in between.

My Method of Making animated sprites:
-Go into Visual Boy Advance and open my ROM
-Get to the screen of the sprite I want
-Pause the rom
-Press ctrl+n and save 1 oam images for every frame
-Use macromedia fireworks to remove the colour background of each sprite
-Open ulead gif animator and put every image in, then set the delay to 0.01 seconds
-Budda Bing Budda Boom, we have spriteage!
I made some from Shining Soul II, but they were pretty dodge so I won't post them.

ImageReady allows you to use frames and optimizes .gif images in a basic form.
You can create animations in there.

This is my first shot at an animated tech-style sig, now that I've gotten a good grasp of ImageReady's tools and features. This wasn't a totally serious attempt, so I didn't bother with color and the finer details were done with premade brushes. The graph is a little wonky, but I'm otherwise satisfied with the way it turned out.
Note to self: Change avatar. *Done.*

anyways your right.
I figured out how to do animated gifs in Fireworks, really all you have to do is make an object than say animate points(dont remember where) then you can move it to where you need and change it and the shape and so on. did I mention you can make movies in flash and export them as gif.

Allow me to post a tutorial that was made a while back in hopes of educating a friend.

First of all, I would like to give credit where credit is due, I used a tutorial from
Okay, I'm going to provide an overview on how to create animations with imageready and Virtualdub.
Well, be creating this:
http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/2220/bleachfaces9ky.gif
Before you start, here's what you need:
1. Virtualdub: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtual....3.zip?download
2. Imageready: It's included with Photoshop
You can buy the program, or certain programs like limewire can be very useful in acquiring it.
3. If you didn't figure it out, you will also need a avi video file :)
4. Create a folder on your desktop...called "artwork"
Once you extract the Virtualdub file, double-click the file and click on run
http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8341/kiratut18xz.th.jpg
Go to File---> open Video File.....(or CONTROL + O)
Now the movie loads in 2 screens, we don't really need to pay attention to it.
Just make sure you resize them so that you can edit the time line.
Go to the desired timeframe and press BEGIN (the begin of your image sequence). After that, keep clicking on 1 FRAME FORWARD until you think the action has stopped. After that click END (the end of your image sequence)
END OF STEP 1
robotkiller said:
-Next step: save the image sequence
http://img498.imageshack.us/img498/8192/kiratut27uv.th.jpg
Go to "save image sequence"
http://img498.imageshack.us/img498/5738/kiratut30gc.th.jpg
You will save the images to your "artwork" folder (Or any folder you like the images to be in) on your desktop
*.tga is recommend it will keep the images smallest.
End of Step 2

And if you look in your "artwork" folder, you will see the images from
bleach0000001.tga to bleach0000034.tga
Open the program Image Ready go to "Import-->Folder As Frames"
http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/5171/kiratut50iz.th.jpg
You should see something along this line. It's the program opening up the files.
http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/5184/kiratut65vs.jpg
End of Step 3
robotkiller said:
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/3071/kiratut79zh.th.jpg
The file size should now be 130 X 98
http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/6475/kiratut89jk.th.jpg
Just look to this image, you will understand where all the images are coming from. Upperleft bar is the preview window, the bar below is the timeframe, the bar on the right is the layer frame. We will only use the timeframe in this tutorial.
WARNING: You can only edit the image if you set the preview window to Original, and NOT to Optimized
End of Step 4

That's pretty small size for a gif animation so you won't need to be edited. However, if the file was large we would have to reduce it.
Removing frames is the simplest way to reduce size.
http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/5282/kiratut107lw.th.jpg
(first go back to original preview mode)
Select a frame, and hold shift till the last frame you want to delete. And press the recycle bin.
And remove the frames
End of Step 5

http://img498.imageshack.us/img498/3595/kira117ao.th.jpg
After that *GO TO File --> save optimized as Bleachintro.gif
http://img493.imageshack.us/img493/885/kiratut124ze.th.jpg
End of Tutorial
:knk Congratulations you now know how to create animations :knk

Imageready that comes with Photoshop CS2 is really easy to use, just as long as you aren't using the confusing layer composite thingers. Those are a pain in the butt. But if you just go frame by frame it's really easy and you have almost all of the fun things from photoshop (i don't think you get filters though D:)
