(by the way, I got it at Microplay, if that helps any)
(also, this should probably be in the "help" forum)

Golden Sun was made by Camelot, which has great graphics designer for sprites. That's basically it. Because Golden Sun is popular today is because of its amazing graphics and its vivid special effects. The whole game engine is as traditional as it gets, but it's not even special or innovative. In fact, it's just pretty basic compared to what other RPGs give you (like Final Fantasy or Tales of Symphonia). It's simple; get into a random battle, attack the monsters/heal your party members, end of battle. And also, the whole overworld aspect is the same deal. Solve puzzles using special skills or items, get to the boss, battle it, defeat it. Also, equipping armor and weapons isn't new, either, along with the class changes. It's basically all the RPGs you've played already put together.
But don't get discouraged. Despite this set-back, it is a fairly designed game. I bought it just for a challenge, and it has satisfied me at the most. But, with it being that expensive, what has the world been coming to?
Anyway, yeah, I'll move this to the Help forum.

I suggest EB games and look in their used games section. I always see it there.

(it was retailed at $25)But seriously, I've seen places sell a GBA-SP for like 70 bucks. You are getting massively ripped off.
