I know that music is an iffy subject right now because of file size and all that, and that it probably won't be added because some people want it and others don't, so I've come up with a compromise. It would be something like this:

    If "C:Documents and Settings/My Documents/GSW.mp3" exists then loop "C:Documents and Settings/My Documents/GSW.mp3"

pretty much, you would take whatever song you wanted and make a copy of it, name it GSW, and then put it in your My Documents folder. Then GSW would refer to it whenever it was there as background music. Maybe, if you guys are experienced enough, you could make it so you have a GSW folder that it will play any music in there from, and that way you can have as many songs as you like in there, but they'll all be your own.

Am I wrong again about how complicated this would be, or would it actually work?

Um, we could probably manage to implement something along those lines, but you may as well just use Winamp or a dedicated media player instead.

I think this is a good idea. I basicly think that the GSW background music should be the Vale/Vault Theme. And how about the Lucky Medal Fountain theme when we are playing mini-games? Also, if there is a music option, there should be a way to enable/disable music.

it would be best to have music in it but have an icon on the interface to turn it on/off.

It may not be necessary, but it would help make GSW a bit more... complete.
Only then you need sound effects for doors and everything :P.
